You don’t need to pay for this service. When the market as a whole is rising, you’ll make money. When it isn’t you won’t. It’s that simple.

The cancellation process is deceptive. After a few months of trying to tolerate all of the popup advertising, I decide to discontinue my eIBD subscription, plus print. After logging into my account, I selected the option to cancel my subscription. I received a confirmation screen 'Subscription Cancelled. You successfully cancelled your subscription to IBD Digital. Your subscription will expire on Sept 29, 2023.' The following month I see my credit card was charged for October. I called and they told me I can NOT cancel via online, you must call them to cancel. Really! So why did I get 'Subscription cancellation successful' message? No indication that I need to call them! Deceptive business practice, without a doubt.

1st they shouldn't have a 4.1 rating in their reviews it should be 1 Star according to the reviews. All the real reviews are serious complaints all the same they are not receiving the services they signed up for and their money being stolen from them through illegal charges and making it impossible to cancel their subscriptions. Customer service is almost impossible to get in touch with and once you do they are unhelpful and outright rude offering no solutions to your problem. So I'm going to clearly say IMO- STAY AWAY FROM THESE CON ARTIST. It's sad because they have the potential to start a legit honest business but instead they chose the short cut

Leadeboard is horrible. They pick stocks that are completely out of line with the IBD investing principles, and by the time they recommend buy something its reached its peak, then they tell you to sell at a loss. I honestly believe its a pump amd dump scam. I tried following Leaderboard investing principles on "paper" for a few months and I would have LOST about 20%. You'd be better off picking stocks by throwing darts at a dartboard. And they charge $70/month for that! Leaderboard isn't about making money for investors, its about making money for IBD. STAY AWAY!!!

IBD Live is disappointing and misleading. It goes through a lot of stocks to make your head spin and does NOT "give you actionable trade ideas backed by technical and fundamental analysis" as advertised. It also does not give us any "potential breakouts" for the trading day as claimed! They wasted time on market news and numerous stocks with poor fundamentals and not actionable! It looks like their objective is quantity and not quality. They rarely show you the buy points/ profit target/ exit strategies. And don't expect to get a refund if you are more confused than To make the subscription worth $99/month, I would suggest they change the focus to quality with fewer stocks, fundamentally sound and technically ready or almost ready stocks, give potential breakout stocks as promised including buy points/ exit strategies, and familiarize subscribers with different features of the Market Smith charts for stock analysis - might help increase Market Smith subscribership! Market news should be shortened to pertinent news. Fewer stocks and more quality discussions PLEASE!! BTW, don't expect to get a refund once subscribed!

Please, if you want financial information, there are many other places to get it then in IBD. I had a very bad experience in trying to cancel my subscription. They charged me two additional months, because their records did not show I cancelled. I asked for a refund and they said no refunds you are out of luck. Try other ways to get your information. Even below as I am typing they ask how long to get your refund, How many days did it take. They are not telling the truth. Call and email and they tell you no refunds.

The paper and Digital both have good info. The problem is; the paper hardly ever arrives. By the time it does arrive (the few timeswhen it does arrive), it is "Old News". The digital has quite a bit of good content, but it is overshadowed by an untold number of advertisements and offers, regardless of how many times you unsubscribe. I have been doing this for over 50 years, quite successfully I might add, so I will just move on; I don't need the aggravation.

It's been my experience that by the time I get the notification, whatever momentum has taken place has already started to reverse. Instead of making six eight 10%, I make a loss, or only 1%. It is just very delayed compared to the market. That was the only issue I had. No issues on billing

It’s all hype and lies, do not subscribe. It is a scam taken straight from The Republican playbook. Hype, lies , repeat, spread the lie around, make it look good on paper I’ve tried to cancel for months now, once you fill out form on website to cancel they tell you to call and you call and no one answers and they tell you to go to website . Their phone message changes and is often played stop an old message AND their hours change. Don’t be a sucker, even their info is all hype,, so what if a stock is flying high , it is a groundless strategy. Worst outfit ever

IBD offers something not only that they cannot deliver (their paper) - they don't even care to check up if the situation is resolved. That is horrible customer service making the whole service unusable.

My online subscription has been down for 12 hrs and at hour 10 finally able to speak to a person who indicated it would take around 15min. Two hours later still down and the second customer service person indicated that person should not have committed to that timeframe and ask if I would like to cancel my subscription! Technical support is not a strong element of this organizations offering-they also do not have after business hours support.

Check your credit card transactions often, cause IBD tends to charge you whenever they want. When I first subscribed they charged me twice within a few days. When I canceled the subscription they charged me again, 7 days before my initial subscription ended. When I called to ask why they said they charge in advance to make sure that there are sufficient funds on your account and that domestic customers have to call some number if they want their membership canceled instead of clicking on “cancel my membership” in your Online IBD account. I canceled it using MY IBD page since the senior product manager Arnie sent an email where he wrote that I can manage my subscription online, or by email, or by calling them. My IBD page still shows that I have no active subscriptions, which I don’t understand, since they charged me for a monthly membership a few days ago. My online billing history on the same account page never showed the duplicate charge or the amount they charged after I canceled my subscription. So what your IBD online account shows has nothing to do with what your bank account shows. Also, read their Terms of use, they have some pretty interesting terms there. And be aware that each product/service they offer can have a separate Terms of use, different than the general version. I liked their website, and different products, and I just can’t understand why they need to scam people to make money.

Subscribed for IBD Digital + Weekly Print, 2 Months Special 1 $14.00. Never received paper copy. Called in last week of Feb (Waited until this time based on my experience with other subscriptions as it may take time to start - 6 weeks or so). Was told the subscription got renewed for 8 weeks and, I should receive paper from now on, which is considerate. Got up early and checked for couple of weekends and didn't get any paper delivered. Called in the middle of march to notify that I didn't receive paper. This time I hear we can't extend anymore as we already extended once. I requested for credit. That isn't possible either. The only way it is possible if I subscribe to digital. This is totally unacceptable. To get one service (which was already paid) we have to pay for another service. I wouldn't recommend this service to any one and please be cautious.

Customer Support Christina was extremely rude. I have never experienced such a rude, unprofessional and no unempathetic support. I have called to inform that I only signed up for 5 weeks trial and it ended 2 days ago but it auto renewed and charged to my credit card. She bluntly said that it is stated clearly and there is no way a refund can be done. When I requested to know who can help, she rudely said no one and auto renew can be terminated next month. Then she just ended the chat. Super rude support. Not tactful, rude, no customer service and unempathetic.

Swing trader not worth the price. Terribly dissatisfied and disappointing. IBD is just one endless sales pitch...bombarding you with emails and pop up ads. I believe you could just flip a coin, pick a stock and trade it yourself....50/50 chance. Honestly, I actually did the opposite of what they suggested, bought put options when they suggested buying and I made money. 90% of their recommendations were taken as entries early in the day, stock would sell off and I'd be in a losing situation right off the bat. Save your hard earned money. Please.

Terrible SwingTrader department/app. You pay money to follow their picks with alerts and you will watch your money evaporate time after time.

Where is my paper? I have not received one since N0v 22. Before this has happened three times. You sent two papers LATE, which is of course useless!

Swing trader is almost impossible to get filled at the prices they announce, thus their "gains record" is based on an "ideal" entry price. Us retail investors is very difficult, if any, to get those prices. I paid for the founders membership $7k for one year. Ended up losing - Moved to Zacks - way different and more satisfying experience. However, I still use the Marketsmith tool - lots of information! This tool I continue to be subscribed. But not to any of the other services
