Product looks great, haven't tried it as yet as its a present, but 48 hour delivery wasn't, actually took 7 days. Fortunately ordered in plenty of time

I bought one of these for £389 last week. I get a text advising me that UK Mail will deliver on the Friday. It doesn't arrive, I click on the UK mail link which says package is 'delayed'. I call iswegway today and speak to Lee who looks into the order and and explains that the unit I've purchased is in fact no longer available but that they'll send me a different one. I decline this and insist on my money back. I'm then told its 7-10 days to refund-refund me. My son has his birthday this week,and they're telling me that I won't receive my money for 10 working days. I insist on speaking to the returns department but I'm repeatedly told the phones are down. I just want my money back in time for my son's birthday, I cannot believe that these people don't get it? These aren't cheap things, people are spending lots of money. I'm totally panicking by this point , I'm so furious at how these people dare to mess customers around and behave as if it's no big deal. Unbelievable. However....3 hours later I get a call from Simon who reassures me that I will get my money back in the 7-10 day time frame-usually by 3 days. I'll keep you posted but I'm ready to do what is necessary if I don't get my money back within this time frame. I'll keep you posted and let you know. WELL THIS IS THE UPDATE AS PROMISED, ISWEGWAY REFUNDED THE MONEY TO ME AS PROMISED ON THE 9th , AND IT IS THIS REASON AND THE PROFESSIONAL AND CONSIDERATE ATTITUDE OF SIMON WHO CALLED ME TO REASSURE THAT THE MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED THAT I HAVE PUT THE SERVICE UP TO 'NORMAL'. But I would like to add here that up to that point the service was very disappointing. IF ALL THE EMPLOYEES WERE LIKE SIMON WE WOULDN'T EVEN BE HAVING THIS DISCUSSION.

Received 2nd swegway after slightly faulty first item. Pleased to say it's great. Delivery was prompt and can't fault the response after a slightly rocky Start. Well done Ash.

Very happy with the service I received prior to delivery and the hoverboard is of very good quality and arrived in time for Christmas. However the charger has now broken after just over a week of use and I have yet to receive my free carry bag. I spoke to a member of staff on Monday 4th Jan who told me I would get a response that day. This never happened and now the only way to communicate with your company is by email (very annoying) as I tried to phone again today and could not get through to a member of staff. I have emailed you and am still waiting for a response. In the meantime my son cannot use his hoverboard and I am very frustrated by the lack of response from you. If this matter is resolved quickly and to my satisfaction, I will be happy to right a more favourable review but the after purchase customer service hasn't impressed me so far. I await your response to this problem.

I ordered a swegway couple of days ago..got my tracking number today but i cant seem to track it..phoned customer service and they are go8ng to get back to me..i was really worried incase this was a dodgy site but after seeing all the good reviews, my mind is more at ease..i really hope this is just a small glitch..i will give it a normal rating just now.hope to give u 5stars once i recieve my board.

The service was fine but nowhere on the Swegway does it say the battery and charger is made by Samsung, which is what it was advertised as and is the reason we bought it. Perhaps we could have paid less buying one from someone else that wasn't advertised as Samsung battery etc. Also disappointed there is no guarantee/ warranty??

Hi Darren, Thank your for your review. Our Swegways have Samsung batteries inside as explained to you on the phone this morning. Samsung do not manufacture these boards, they only provide the stated components. We do not advertise these boards as Samsung. We only state they are Samsung batteries that power the board. The chargers are all UK certified and tested. I hope this clarifies the situation a bite better.
