“Most things went brilliantly and the itinerary was very well planned. When things went slightly wrong then they were sorted out very quickly and efficiently. The opera seats at Verona were superb and the church/museum passes a great way of getting to see all the sites of interest. Parc du Salo Hotel is 1960's "high quality retro" if that makes sense! It's location is excellent on the edge of the lake and then just a short walk into the pretty town with so many bars, cafes and restaurants along the promenade again overlooking the lake.”

“Other than a slight glitch with the instructions to the Florence hotel due to recent changes in the one way system (when we did arrive a stiff drink was required) the trip was well organised and took account of our own self booked week in the countryside in the middle as well as a fantastic Palio experience. We had 3 nights in Florence and I think in retrospect 4 would, have been better. Expensive but worth it.”

“When we arrived at the Hotel Una in Milan we were thrilled that it was so central and the welcome we were given was very friendly. Unfortunately the two things that I had specifically asked for, namely twin beds and a bath in the bath room, were missing. They managed to rig up an extra single bed in our room which was fine, but we had to settle for no bath which is always a disappointment to me when I have ordered one. We had also been told that breakfast was not included and, in fact, it turned out that it was included - something that we did not want. However, our room was comfortable and well air conditioned and we had a very enjoyable stay in Milan.”

Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for your feedback on your recent trip. We did definitely book a twin bed room with a bath as per your requirements - I have checked with our supplier today and gone through our correspondence and all was verified by the hotel, so my apologies for them not doing this. I hope this notwithstanding, you still had a wonderful time in Milan. Regards Hannah
