“My 90 year old father in law was sold the internet but was not told that the minimum guaranteed speed was 1Mbs download . The average speed was advertised at 10Mbs. He actually needs a minimum of 5Mbs but despite several conversations with "Customer Service" no resolution has been offered. My only option is to flag this to BBCs Watchdog and Rip Off Britain to prevent other senior citizens being tied into a 2 year contract that is of no use to them!”
“I have had Italk in my home since febuary, i have just recieved April invoice, and noticed an additional charge of £18.00, i rang italk and they have advised this charge was from february when i had italk installed, i had to change the date of appointment of the installation because of a important hospital appointment, i was told by the advisor on the phone that i would 100% not be charged for this change of appointment, i then ring to find out what the additional charge is and they advise that it was for the change of appointment, i told them that i was told by them that i wouldn't be charged, the woman on the phone wasn't prepared to listen and said i am still liable to pay this fee, i then again explained what i was told when i changed the appointment, the lady on the phone then said i have to pay it or i would then have to pay my cancelation fee..... this company is a joke! Avoid like the plague.....”
