Awful customer service - hassling me even tho I have no account but they have my telephone number recorded with them for some odd reason. Pathetic service as they say it is against data protection to enable taking off my number associated to an account I have never set up - dreadful - don't use them!

I was conned into having italk as my phone company by false promises. I cancelled in april after 3 months overcharging by them. Later, they said my cancellation was rescinded externally (Alleged, no proof) worse was to follow. Notwithstanding the fact that i cancelled, and that their "service" was for calls only, and i was the only person in my house for 6 months, and i am a man of few words, they are now trying to get £517 from me! They even include a charge for september, a month after they themselves say the "service "ceased. Basically, they are lying about the entire matter. None of their figures are real. Figures have simply been "snatched out of the air", and the entire bill is a fabrication. They even phoned today pretending to be bt and falsely alleging that the £517 owed to bt! They will use any sly conniving sneaky swindling tactic to try to get peoples' money. I wish they would take me to court so that i can expose them to the adverse publicity they deserve. They are a bunch of scamming fraudsters, and it is long past time they were stopped. Be warned, don't sign up with italk, they will rip you off, and if you cancel, they will find some way of charging you an extortionate amount of money for nothing. I think they must only employ staff who have no principles, otherwise they would not work for such a slimy no - good bunch of criminals. If you have been ripped off, make it public, and if they are trying to rip you off, refuse to pay and make online complaints like mine. We can bring them down if we all fight them together. My next step is to go to the police to make a formal complaint against them for fraudulent business methods for which they already have a record in the usa.

Do not sign up to this company, they would not stop my contract when I moved house and heaven forbid if you are experiencing mental health crisis during lockdown and get called constantly to try and harass you to pay for something you don’t owe. I have never been this angry with a company in my life. They call, email and text at the same time from a number in Crawley. They made me so angry that I actually hurt my hand by banging it on the desk. Do not sign up with this company.

iTalk - AVOID AVOID AVOID. In 35 years I've never had an experience this bad. Misrepresented everything from the start - speed available and cancellation times - IT IS TWO WEEKS NOT ONE. Spent 25 minutes arranging an alternative delivery address - only for them to deliver it when I wasn't at home. Laughable. To top it off an inept advisor failed to cancel my account and cost me another £15 and 30 minutes of my life. If they had been honest with me from the start I would never have signed up and been £75 worse off for the privilege. Final agony I have to spend to an hour go to a PO to drop router off. iTalk - ZERO Customer service. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

I had exactly the same experience as Miss D Brown, the previous review here. I don't have connection on regular basis, its really annoying when you have on line session or my children have lessons online, the signal is lost usually for 5-10 minutes. when I call to Italk they say to do some manipulations with the plug on the wall, asking if there are any eclectic devises around as they may affect the router's work. what the hell is that?? do I need to switch off all the electricity in the house?? make special room for their router without any devices? all their solution is upgrade for more expensive tariff. Avoid!!! Avoid!!! Avoid!!!!! the worst company!!!!

If I could leave less than one star I would had over year and half never sort my issues out all the phone line staff trained in come backs of screw the front of the plug off plug directly into wall, factory reset after 30 mins, get a wire from one room to the other to connect tv “why Gould I do that if I pay for wireless internet” also let me do speed check everything fine. “It isn’t there no connection.” Oh press hold reset for 5 second “never works” then after all they they try to sell you more internet and I should upgrade for extra £10 because somehow it’s my fault guess what it doesn’t work they ‘cannot see a fault no the line” absolutely shocking if you want internet I talk cannot provide it I’m customer 11278527 phoned emailed over more than 22 times this year worst internet company everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Now they want £200 odd for a Service they didn't provide cos I did NOT receive any Broadband fr them I paid for the Phone. Harrassment of a 60 year old man...Shameless behaviour from these CheapSkates

I have had nothing but problems with this company, from over charges twice of £150 because of repairs outside my property which I was told if openreach had to do any work and it wasn't in my property a charge wouldn't incur. I've had half the speed of internet also for 6 months still paying full charge for the service to. They harass you if a payment isn't made? I was issued a new bank card so I had to update my details on one months payment. I can't wait till my contract ends next year I will never use this provider again. Please avoid like the plague

My 90 year old father has used italk for his telephone for the past four years. In February this year he rang them to cancel and was told that as he didn't have a contact there was no problem and would leave on the 10th March. He has been billed twice since then even though he has not used the phone and is no longer a customer. I spoke to them and explained what had happened. I was told that the call which my father made was 'dropped' and so was disregarded. As he was given a cut off date I can't understand why they didn't sort it out straight away. The amount of letters and calls to his mobile demanding money is getting silly. I have told them that he owes nothing and to stop harassing him but to no avail. The people who phone him seem to have a horrible way of speaking and no compassion whatsoever. I would not recommend this company to anyone, they are disorganized and cause real harm with their hounding of the elderly.

My 90 year old father in law was sold the internet but was not told that the minimum guaranteed speed was 1Mbs download . The average speed was advertised at 10Mbs. He actually needs a minimum of 5Mbs but despite several conversations with "Customer Service" no resolution has been offered. My only option is to flag this to BBCs Watchdog and Rip Off Britain to prevent other senior citizens being tied into a 2 year contract that is of no use to them!

I have had Italk in my home since febuary, i have just recieved April invoice, and noticed an additional charge of £18.00, i rang italk and they have advised this charge was from february when i had italk installed, i had to change the date of appointment of the installation because of a important hospital appointment, i was told by the advisor on the phone that i would 100% not be charged for this change of appointment, i then ring to find out what the additional charge is and they advise that it was for the change of appointment, i told them that i was told by them that i wouldn't be charged, the woman on the phone wasn't prepared to listen and said i am still liable to pay this fee, i then again explained what i was told when i changed the appointment, the lady on the phone then said i have to pay it or i would then have to pay my cancelation fee..... this company is a joke! Avoid like the plague.....
