This company is a complete shambles and a disgrace. Suits are good quality and fit well but they are just not worth the hassle of there APPALLING customer services. Emails go unanswered for days and sometimes weeks. They are impossible to get hold of on the phone. I had to chase my suit almost daily and it arrived the day before the wedding only due to my constant chasing. They forgot one of the ties and we ended up looking round shops the morning of the wedding looking for ties. We never found what we were looking for so was left feeling very dissapointed and upset. Not received a refund for this and emails are still unanswered. AVOID at all costs. They are a disgrace and I will be contacting trading standards

On the day I was due to pick up the order. I travelled all the way to the shop and after waiting was told by the staff that the suits were not there and were due to be delivered 5 days prior but there was an issue. No one contacted me to warn me of the delay or to not bother going to the shop. After which I was contacted by the director and was told my suits would not be ready in time for my wedding, even though the order was completed about 38 days prior to the required date. The director did drive to hand deliver them but only to discover there were two suits that were incorrect sizes. When asking for a financial reduction due to the issues experienced, nothing was offered apart from a free return which I didn't feel was appropriate. I am also yet to receive my deposit reimbursement. which is now 18 days since the return date.

First and foremost: fit is good. That's quit exceptional, as tweed clothing is normally slightly larger than the centre of the earth, regardless of the size you order. This isn't, this fits. Also, pricing is excellent, as is customer care. At this point I can't decide whether the quality of the fabric is satisfactory, as I haven't worn it a lot. What I didn't like is the time it took. Almost 35 days is way too long for something that is not at all made to measure or bespoke, but merely 'not off the peg'. Secondly, we don't seem to agree on what 32 inches is. I ordered the trousers hemmed and the shortest possible length is 32", which still turned out to be too long. Also, most buttons are sewn on by someone who doesn't really like buttons, clothing or sewing. Finally, don't ever press lapels, so as to get a sharp crease between jacket and lapel. This is punishable by 26 years hard labour.

Unfortunately this time they didn’t! I ordered my first ever tweed suit from Jennis & Warmann and was thrilled, I’ve worn it so many times and always receive compliments. I decided to order another suit with high hopes but this time was left very disappointed. We ordered the standard sizing of the suit and paid the extra £10 to have the trousers hemmed and included the measurement details for this in the order notes. When the trousers arrived I was disappointed to find the trousers unhemmed. Straight away I emailed customer services to notify them as I wanted the trousers for an event, I also queried about the size of the jacket. I received an email notifying me that £10 had been refunded to me, I then received another email informing me they had refunded the money so that I could find a local tailor to hem the trousers instead of sending them back to Jennis & Warmann. I then called the office for an explanation as to why the trousers weren’t hemmed in the first place and for the lack of care for the customer. This appeared to be their standard practice for when this mistake happens because it is a cheaper option for them. It makes me think this happens often. The refund was appreciated but I felt there was a lack of customer care especially seen as this is a high priced garment. I’m really disappointed with the customer service and how I’ve been treated as a customer. I’m not sure if I will be ordering again from Jennis & Warmann and I won’t be recommending them.

Purchased 5 suits and the most important one the groom got completely wrong 4 times . Ended up trying to get refund and then having to purchase elsewhere at more cost as the day approached. Avoid this company as too risky if your suit don't fit first time . Customer service very bad and unprofessional staff that can't measure . So it's pot luck and your risk if it goes wrong . All made in China hence why if it's goes wrong you got no chance of a new one . Was not worth the stress they put in us for an important day that they just did not care for at all .They don't listen to the bad reviews but hope you do and avoid !!

I read some reviews that alluded some fake ones had been posted to counteract those reporting poor service. I never write reviews, this is the first one I have ever made for any purchase, I am a genuine customer and will give a completely honest appraisal of my experience. I telephoned once to enquire how slim the slim fitting trouser was, the call was answered but I was directed to the website for the answer, which I found with no problems. The delivery was stated as between 30-35 days, on day 35 I sent an email asking for an update as the suit had not arrived, I got a reply within a couple of hours saying it was in the final pressing stages. The suit arrived 42 days after the order was placed. I had ordered the beige/brown herringbone tweed three piece in a standard 42" regular chest, 34" waist, I went for the long fitting waistcoat and am glad I did, I am 6 foot exactly and think the regular would be slightly too short. The suit arrived in a well packaged box and I absolutely love it, the tweed is a lovely fabric in both look and feel and fits me perfectly. I am fortunate that off the peg suits in the above sizes fit my frame as well as a measured suit, I have a Savile Row fully tailored suit that cost four times as much but does not look any better. I would say the overall fit of this suit is on the close fitting side, a tailored look to the shape, just how I like a suit to sit. The tailoring quality is not perfect but is in no way bad, the lining is not the best in the world but it is not worthy of complaint either. Some of the button holes needed a couple of stray threads trimming but this took no time at all. The main things to consider are that this suit cost £270 including delivery and the minor niggles of a week delay, a few stray threads and the average lining are totally nullified by how good this suit fits and looks. I am a big fan of wearing a suit and have had many more expensive ones, both tailored and off the peg, designer and high street. I have to say that once this suit is on it is probably my favourite, I cannot fault how it looks in any way, there is no doubt this could pass as a suit in the £1000 bracket. Obviously I cannot comment on the made to measure service but the off the peg measurements I received are spot on, I recommend this suit highly but would advise allowing extra time for delivery if ordering for an occasion with a deadline. Thanks for a wonderful suit, I will be ordering from you again.

Suit quality ok Tailoring was awful Communications pathetic Reliability suspect I ordered 14 tailored suits and 8 of them were incorrectly tailored, even after two attempts from their tailor. J is a great sales person. However, I wouldn't spend another pound with this company. Many of the plus reviews are false. The company had already leaked that out. They pay anyone for good reviews to dilute the appalling service. Please people. Keep your money or at least spend elsewhere. My dealings with this company was the most traumatic experience in my 44 years. Unprofessional. Unreliable. False. Unconcerned. Amateurs.

I can't understand how this place works! Fantastic suit suits but sales and managers have not idea! I've emailed, called tried everything to contact someone but no reply. I've travelled over 2hrs each way to see shop twice now and prepared to buy FIVE suits but just not interested ...such a shame. They can't keep goin as a business like this ! Reading similar reviews makes me hesitant to carry on especially when I'm spending 1600 plus !!

I cannot recommend that anyone order a bespoke suit from this establishment. I ordered my bespoke suit 3 months prior to my wedding. It turned out that was only just enough time because the suit arrived 2 months later than originally promised (just 2 days before I was to leave for the wedding)! The delivery date was delayed on numerous occasions and even though the shop manager agreed multiple times to update me as to when they would receive the suit, he never phoned me with any updates. I had to initiate every communication (sometimes by going by the shop). When the suit finally arrived, it was too tight in many of the measurements (odd because, if anything, I'd lost a little weight for the wedding) and to top it all off the shop was reticent to re-fit any of it. They did re-fit the trousers so I could actually sit down in them, but I ended up having to take the suit coat and the waistcoat to a seamstress to get them let out enough for me to wear! I am so thankful to the seamstress down the street who was able to do a same-day alteration. Also, my fiancé and I had asked for a couple specific details to be added to the suit and none of them were in the finished product. Overall a very poor experience and it makes me wonder why they even offer the option to order a bespoke suit. The ready made suits in the shop area all look quite nice, but I cannot advise anyone ever ordering a bespoke suit from this merchant.

The customer service is the worst I have ever had. The suits are made in china and the material is very poor quality, not a nice custom tweed suit. The pictures of the suits don't represent the actual color of the suits and the style in the photos are for custom versions, not the one you are buying, which is not advertised anywhere on the site. I had bought these for a wedding two months in advance with priority shipping. Not only did the suits come late and without any priority shipping, but the items were nowhere near advertised. The color was black, not gray and the stye was completely off. When I called to fix the issue the manager stated that it was my fault and that they are not responsible for how the item looks on their site and the delay in shipping. Now I had to buy new suits from another store and the seller will not refund or fix the suits. So I am now at a loss of 1400 dollars. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I looked on the internet for tweed suits for my upcoming wedding. I came across Jennis & Warmann and read all about what they had to offer and I was impressed but very cautious about ordering anything online, let alone out of the country (I live in the U.S.). I looked through all the suits and really liked the variety the offered and decided to figure out the time difference and call. I called and spoke with Jay and we went over my concerns, needs and what I wanted out of my suits. We discussed sizing, the process of taking good measurements and shipping. After the phone call I felt better about ordering a suit from them and decided to go through with it......and I am glad I did. My brown tweed suits arrived after 3 weeks so actually a week ahead of schedule of the original 4 week timeframe and the sizing was spot on. The jacket was a little big at the shoulders, but that was due to my measuring and will be taken in accordingly. The quality of the suits is great and they are well put together and classy. I am very happy with them! They ship worldwide DHL in a box so they will need to be pressed, but Jennis & Warmann clearly state this under their FAQ's so I wasn't shocked and expected this. The only real issue I had with the entire process was the lack of communication which made me nervous. Jay was a littele hard to comprehend at first and after putting my order and measurements in and receiving my confirmations, I never heard back for weeks until I was notified my order was fulfilled and being shipped. I had emailed before then inquiring about the status and never heard back. All in all though, I am very happy (and relieved) with the suits and their quality, fit and feel! I definitely recommend Jennis & Warmann!!

Had a fitting in early May, all very easy and hassle free to do, chose material and style there and then, received the suit a few weeks later by DHL. Absolutely amazing quality for the price (£260!) and what I got. Received dozens of admiring comments when I wore it for my wedding. Would definitely buy from again were it not for the fact I am now living in the U.S!

The suit is great quality and just superb for the price! Delivery did take around 40 days so make sure you order with sufficient time before you need it. Take note of the sizing descriptions as it does come very true to size and is more of a fitted/slim fit than a regular but if you take your measurements accurately and use the table you will be fine. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

I ordered 46 regular in the jacket and a 46 long in the waistcoat, what I have received is a 44 regular to short jacket and 44 regular to short waistcoat. Also, I had to get the suit dry cleaned as it arrived looking like an elephant's knee cap. Wearable but disappointing.

The quality of the goods supplied by Jennis & Warmann is very good, but their attitude to customer relations is hopeless. The only acknowledgement of your order will come from the firm handling the online transaction; emails to J&W will go unanswered; you will have no idea whether or not your order has gone through or been accepted until a message from DHL arrives (after 30-35 working days) telling you that it is on its way from Heathrow. Of course, you might try phoning J & W, but for most of the period I was awaiting my order, their phones were being 'upgraded' and therefore not working.

I received my suit in the mail and it came a bit earlier than expected which I really appreciate. It is a good fit, not too heavy a weight. I just was not ready to see it come in a DHL delivery bag , all wrinkled up. It was a pretty poor presentation and first impression. J&W makes good suits , there are many in their collection I would buy, why not deliver them in a box with a J&W hanger ( just to make that impression). I have purchased from other companies and that's how its done. It does make a difference. Its a small effort, but I believe an important one. I do like my new suit.

Delivery time was later than advised, reason, delay coming fron 'Hong Kong', something not mentioned on the web site. Suit could have done with some alterations, but due to it's delay there wasn't enough time. Only positive feed back appears on the main web site, for anything negative there is a seperate web page.

Hello Patricia, Everything is explained on our website nice and clear. How you bought the suit without reading the Delivery and Returns really is strange. It is right next to the descriptions tab and your suit was delivered in good time. We can only send you the size you order that is why we have a guide to help you choose the right size or take your measurements and send to us.
