“I cancelled the visit for wasp nest within the 24 hour period. The waiting time had been 5 days due to heavy demand and I was able to get someone else. However they still have not refunded me my payment despite numerous emails and voicemails . They do not respond. I am very disappointed with this company as you can imagine they have gained £45 for doing nothing”

“Young guy turned up been on job one month, no protective clothing and hired van, couldn’t find nest in garden despite 100’s wasps flying everywhere in the grass. Decided he couldn’t help, asked about the money I’d already paid said nothing to do with him contact the office! Rang the office very unhelpful said I needed to put complaint in writing, e mail not acceptable (?)! After writing was offered an insulting £5 back from original £120 ( can’t remember exact amount charged) eventually after several attempts gave me back half from memory ( this was from last summer ). This company promotes itself as local, friendly and efficient none of which I found to be accurate, complete rip off, recommend you avoid them like the plague!”

“I paid over £200 but when they came out, the guy said the best was dead so he put it in a bin bag and off he went. A lot of money for the little that he did.”

“Had a bedbug problem and had tried various methods/other companies to try and resolve it but no joy. Contacted JG and am now seeing a marked improvment. I am 2 weeks into a 4 week chemical treatment and while there is still the odd one around (which they said there would be with the chemical option), I can see light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you JG!”

“I didn't expect JG Pest Control to turn out to be the pests. Watch out for the VAT scam (they add VAT at the last minute) on top of an already overpriced service. Don't worry though, if you aren't happy the two guys will refuse to leave your home until you have paid. Not very professional and particularly worrying when you think of vulnerable people where these sorts of intimidation tactics can be very upsetting. I recommend you find somebody else and only use this company if you have no other choice.”

“Asked the Gloucester depot to remove a bees nest from our roof. Warned them that we have had bats nesting in the roof that might prevent them from treating the bees nest. Assured over the phone that they could "certainly do something" before taking payment of over £150 in advance. Attended site for all of 10 minutes and said they couldn't do anything because we had bats nesting in the roof! HQ has since refused to refund us save a pitiful token amount. Terrible from start to finish.”
