I wish that I looked at these reviews before I ordered from John Craddock. my work truck has been off the road for 2 months now waiting for a part, and going by other reviews I'm guessing I won't see my 200 pounds again. How do people still get away with this stuff??????????

Buyer beware, John Craddock’s website is completely out of date, they advertise stock as in Stock as being in stock just to get your money, I paid them £1200 pound they haven’t communicated with me just took the money, A few days past and I decided to call them, a lady told me that there was one out of three items was out of stock, I was a little disappointed however I did ask her to arrange to send the other two items which she agreed, another three days past still no communication and no dispatched items I then called John Craddocks back and spoke to another lady in customer services she informed me that now, all three items were out of stock and I will just have to wait until they came into stock her attitude was terrible, i’m completely disappoint of the whole situation and strongly advise that nobody buy from this company

How the hell this company has been in business for this long is utterly beyond me. A complete bunch of absolute amateurs couldn’t run a bath with their lives depended on it The bloke that runs the workshop doesn’t deserve a job in McDonald’s

John Craddock are a totally unprofessional business. Part ordered and promised for delivery 29th May. No delivery. Contacted Craddocks who changed date of delivery to 2nd June no delivery. Dpd attempted delivery to wrong address. Contacted craddock who advised would be delivered later same day. Within minutes had update to state delivery would be Monday 5th June. Craddock customer services is appalling, cannot get facts correct or consistent and treat customers like dirt. When you ask to speak to a manager craddock refer you back to their non existent customer services as the company is managed by the customer services apparently. Shambles.

This place is a joke. Don't even waste your time. I placed an order for a new key FOB and included the correct information along with my vehicle VIN. They sent the wrong key and I didn't figure this out until travelling to two different dealers to have the key programmed. I subsequently reached out to get a replacement and have spent weeks trying to get the correct key and return the wrong one that they sent. Their customer service center is only open three days a week which is incredibly inconvenient. I still have not received a return label and have now purchased the keys elsewhere. I thought I would save myself money and time and now I'm out for the cost of the key and the labor cost at two dealers trying to get it programmed. This was a HUGE waste of time and money. I'm now returning the key and they won't even cover the cost of the return AND they want to charge a restocking fee! Terrible business, terrible people, shop elsewhere.

Purchased rear cross member for 1950 model. Was advertised as exact replica for the above. I noticed in their photo they did not have the tub securing tab plates fitted or the second hook fitted outboard of the tailgate hinge. These are all shown in the L/R spare parts book for the above model. Contacted Craddocks by email and in their reply they assured me the above items are fitted. The received item was as per their photo and not an exact replica as advertised. Looking for new source of supplies I have no faith in Craddocks whatsoever. Greg 1566

Money taken immediately , but had to wait 3 months until the items were delivered. pointless trying to contact be telephone as it was just an answering machine telling me that they were terribly busy . Emails were ignored , shop somewhere else would be my advice .

Poor description of items and quantity advertised packs of 15 nuts in description and sell them individually so you have no idea if your buying a pack or one unit... complained when only 3 rivnuts arrived when I thought I had ordered 3 packets and told to have a nice day having wasted £5.00 on postage....avoid like the plague unhelpful time wasters

Shop elswhere, due to john Craddocks incompetence, I was charged €30 import charges in France on an item costing £28, their response was to offer me £2.50 if I ordered something else costing over £50. John Craddock, my response......Up yours!!!

Absolutely shocking customer service. Invoiced me for items that you don’t even have in stock, haven’t bothered to inform me that you don’t have it, will have to now order it in and there will be a delay. All of this was AFTER I rang up chasing and was told the parts were being sent out this morning and were stopped? Absolutely shocking. Won’t be coming here again and will be advising others to avoid

I am stressed out to the max! I have spent over 1 thousand pounds to acquire parts shown in stock on Craddock's website. That was over 1 month ago. Since then, I have received an email once a week, at first telling me a few parts were not in stock and they were waiting for their suppliers to deliver them. Their communication and accessibility is extremely poor, regardless of any protestations to the contrary on their part. I have repeatedly asked for the list of parts that were missing in order to ascertain whether to ship the parts that they did have. I have never received a response to that query. Finally, I have told them to ship the parts that they did have but please send me a list of what they were shipping and the cost of carriage. I wanted to ensure that the parts being shipped were relevant and not just a couple of small items. Still no response to date. Am I being unreasonable? irrational? I do not think so. The company was very quick to take my money, but have stalled on delivering the products for which I have already paid. It almost appears that Craddock is going out of business and delaying the inevitable. It is such a shame that a venerable institution like Craddock is currently treating its customers with such arrogance, deceit, and fraud. If I am wrong in my assessment and there is a positive response soon from the company I promise to return to this site and give an update. I want my parts shipped this week. It has been over a month. BEWARE.

Absolute terrible service. Took the money, never communicated. Constantly chased them for an update. They ignored, finally had no option but to raise a dispute via a credit act to get money back after months of waiting. The reviewing options on this website do not let you vote how bad they are. If I picked any options it looked as though they did actually communicate or provide some sort of customer care. This was never the case. Will never use again, ever!!!

I don`t get my order.I asked about it via e-mail--nothing happens.Now I believe that my money is gone and I have to order items from elsewhere. I think I try to get money back but I think it will be very difficoult--even impossible. Ofcourse this makes me unhappy.

Exceptionally Poor Service I have ordered many times from John Craddock and understand that we are in unprecedented times John Craddock currently owes me about £50 in unfulfilled orders I have been phoning and emailing for about 6 weeks but have received no reply. The next thing will be to contact visa for a charge back. I know times are difficult but even if Craddock staff are furloughed surely they can pick up emails at home? Sorry John Craddock but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired I have other Landrover friends and they are all avoiding buying from John Craddock due to similar circumstances I don’t usually do reviews unless things are exceptional This is exceptionally poor Day after leaving review received 7 emails of complete gobbledegook Just want plain english eg Sorry we have issued a refund Still no response I have been on hold for 55 minutes I have emailed several times Edit Delete Share

Placed an order and money was deducted within a day - over £1600 of an order nearly 3 weeks ago. Didn't hear anything and couldn’t see my order on the website, so emailed them and got a response 2 weeks later blaming COVID. No phone calls been taking. Then I get an email indicating the order has been dispatched delivered. It has not been and I’ve provided emails of the same from the delivery company. Not one response from them in the 6 days Since I emailed and continue to do or a call to indicate they will or try to look into it to resolve It. Their service department is an embarrassment and I’m still not sure how to get it resolved. All the time they still have taken for the order. Do not order anything from this company.

Parts ordered on 11th May , money taken from my card next day.........then nothing !!! Not answering telephone , ignoring emails and "contact us" on website is pointless. This used to be a good company to deal with , but I'm afraid they've lost all my respect now. Blaming Covid 19 for all their problems , but other companies seem to able to manage ok. Terrible customer service.

Using covid as an excuse for slow despatch when all other orders from all other companies were still up and running. Took 2 emails and a paypal dispute to finally get it despatched. Once despatched item was perfect condition well packaged.

Terrible company. Take your money for parts and shipping. Dont reply to emails and phone calls when chased for the order. I recommend Craddock, YRM or SP-4x4. Still sending parts on time despite the COVID situation. Will be taking legal action against this company
