Don’t be fooled by the high end cars on show, once they have your cash you are doomed. If you think they are going to do any of the work before you pick up your car, then you will be disappointed. If they say they will book it in for the work after you drive away, then good luck as once they have your money you’ll be ghosted and it’s like a war of attrition to actually get through unless you block your number and then they answer straight away. But if you do speak to someone on reception don’t expect anyone to be available, certainly not the lying salesman who sold you the car and don’t expect anyone to return a message either. Also worth doing your own HPI as there’s conveniently doesn’t check for millage discrepancies and you’ll need to do another HPI a week after you have purchased the car as J17 don’t pay off the finance they took out to buy the car for their stock!!! ....you have been warned!!! Avoid at all costs!!!

Atrocious. I have never been compelled to write a review for any service or product ever but the service I received from Junction 17 was beyond ATROCIOUS. The communications were fine. They saw my car on a popular website for selling cars and suggested they could sell it, which I took them up on. However, once the car was in their possession it all went downhill. There were 3 months available for J17 to sell the car, and I enquired 1 week before this date was to elapse to ask about recollecting my car. However, when I enquired about taking the car back (as I hadn't heard ANYTHING in 3 months), I was told there was interest in the car. Wow -funny, as I hadn't been told before! If I was to take £1k less, apparently it would sell. I wanted to sell my car, so I said yes, I'd accept £1k less. However, after that again I heard NOTHING else until 2 weeks later I received a refund for my tax. Are you kidding me?!? Should the dealer not have had the courtesy to tell me what was going on? Running a business myself, we would keep the customer informed at every step of the way. I then tried to call the contact at Junction 17 who did everything in his power not to answer or return my calls. I wanted to know how much the car sold for - and I am still waiting to find out. Reception kept telling me he'd call back. I got one call back on a Friday night telling me that he'd get back to me on the following Monday with the FINAL PRICE of the car (as I wasn't even told that!!). Lo and behold, I haven't heard back for 3 weeks and today I'm writing a negative review as it is quite literally the WORST experience I have EVER HAD with a car dealership, and I have bought/sold 9 cars over the last 10 years. Apparently, I'm supposed to be paid the money I am owed tomorrow (after 30 days of holding it, with no interest on the money they have made from this) - but I have no faith on this as I can't speak to the contact I spoke to for selling the car, haven't been told about the final price of the car (as I can only imagine they are keeping more than they should), and am still waiting to share finance details to receive my payment. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. DISINGENUOUS. AVOID.

I put a deposit down on a car advertised as being 2008 and 60,459 miles. I requested the registration number to arrange insurance, it was not forthcoming. I had to ask three times for the information but now understood why there was a delay. The car was advertised as being registered in 2008 but it was actually registered in 2007. Giving me the registration number before payment would obviously have alerted me to the date of registration. I was finally sent an invoice for the balance which had the mileage of the car as being 70454. When I queried this I was told it was an error and was sent a new order form showing the mileage as 60,459 but the year of registration as being 2007. I decided that one year on a twelve year old car was not material and decided to proceed with the purchase. What I had not realised was that this model underwent an upgrade in 2008 and models of that heritage understandably enjoy a price premium. The car was therefore not the exceptional value I had based my buying decision upon. When the car was delivered it had a sevice schedule from an independent garage showing the mileage as 70,454. An MOT conducted 12 months ago showed the mileage as 58,442 which would mean it had only done 2000 miles in just under a year if the 60,459 was correct. I had to take the car back for repairs as it was riddled with faults. I met the MD who said there was a disclaimer on the Autocar website saying the car may not be exactly as described. It is understood that the range of accessories may vary but what is not disputable is the mileage and year of registration. There is a lot more to come.

Customer service is appalling, from the start I arranged a viewing to get there and be told the car was in the workshop and they never had the keys, they would call me Monday to rearrange viewing no phone call. Called all week with promises of returning my call but nothing. Eventually I get to view the car pointing out a couple of items that where agreed to get rectified pick up the car and not everything done After over 2 weeks no hpi certificate so paid to have one done myself CAR COME BACK WITH OUTSTANDING FINANCE Asked on several occasions for the check they carry out and charge you for but nothing they will not return you calls so be warned Only reason I am giving 1 star is the car seems alright

I would say AVOID at all times however some people had apparently some good experience.... Mine was a nightmare! I wanted to buy my dream car, a Jaguar, I thought it will be straight forward. I reserved the car and paid for it to be sure it will be available. After I had a look on the car and test drove it I had some objections about the condition and was told that the car will go through checks, services and MOT before I'll buy it. I wanted no deposit option and finance. After I was not approved by the finance company I just accepted that I can't have it and thought that was it. I thanked for their 'help' and said I won't be buying the car and then it started... I was told I can't refuse to buy it now as I had reserved the car and they apparently had other people looking at it but refused to sell as it was reserved for me ( just wanted to mention that on the website it says that reservation is not obligatory and refundable) however before getting checked by finance company I had to sign a 'pre-sell' contract as I was told 'to get my details into system' and after that I was told this was a binding contract and if I won't buy it I will be taken to court for contract breach and also accused of lost sales... I didn't believe what I've heard! After couple of days battling with them I've lost and was forced to buy the car under threat of being taken to curt and paying a lot more... so I got the worst finance available, had to pay £1000 of deposit under that finance got charged some other 'sales' costs and in the end the car wasn't even well prepared. After 3 weeks I had to change brake pads and discs as were distorted and they didn't want to pay for it and even refund some of the costs. My buying a dream car experience has changed to a nightmare with paying few thousand pounds more than I was able to pay, I'm still paying the debt on my credit card for this. They are using very aggressive sales strategy, they are tricking people into buying cars and after you start to have any doubts ir objections, from quite nice and decent service they go into rude, obnoxious and aggressive sale. I'm warning anyone who is still willing to get a car from them, be extremely careful and DON'T sign ANYTHING unless you are sure you will get your finance and you are happy with the condition of the car as you see it because they won't change a thing even saying they will....

Partner part exchanged her car with Junction 17. She had not recived a V5 for her new car after 2 months so had to apply to DVLA for a new one. Too add to her frustration the car she traded in was not registered properly to the garage/new owner and she's now recieved multiple fines for a car she doesn't own. She has contacted Junction 17 to ask for paperwork to be completed and has received no support from them. Very poor aftercare.

APPALLING SERVICE.do not use this garage. I have bèen holding off writing this review to see if the company could redeem themselves. They havent. The whole experience of buying a new car was verry stressfull and should not of been. When looking at cars the guys were really helpful at encouraging us which car to buy. After putting down a deposit it all went down hill. If we hadnt loved the car so much it would of ended there however I also felt under pressure due to the deposit. Basicaly staff very rarely got back to me when they promised to and I spent lots of time chasing them. Staff blamed each other for this and for promises that were made . Before picking the car up we called in advance to check and were informed it was ready, we took time off work and drove a 80 mile round trip, to wait around and the car still was not to ready.but asked did we want to take it as it was? It was agreed in writting due to being messed about the car would get a mot and full service when needed, I'm awaiting confirmation that this is still authorised, and not sure this would end up costing more. When we eventually picked the car up, we were not given any warranty details, I was promised this would be e mailed the next day and the agreed things greed to be actioned. This was NEVER DONE. I have sinced chased this up myself and the agreed things have still not been completed to this day. . Five mounths on the parking sensors have gone wrong (Which were fitter via the garage and I was told I had a years warranty )I have contact the garage by phone and now e mail several times to be told call back tomorrow, when I did it was agreed someone would call the same day or email to book the car in. A week later ive heard nothing. Two of the staff that we were dealing with have since left and were being blamed fir the bad service but this is still happening, my purchase was with the company and nit the individuals. The staff are rude and try to passyou off to eventually ignore you.

Came a long way to see a maserati from oxford. The staff said he didn't have a fuelcard and asked me to pay for the fuel for test drive. it seems they don't really care about customers. First time I heard that I need to pay for test drive fuel in a dealership.
