“price and ease of us”

“The meter is great, but the test strips are finicky. Compared to my other home meters the test strip requires more blood, and gives an error message almost immediately if not enough blood was available, whereas my others give me a second to squeeze out more blood. This results in trashing test strips more often than I'd like and wasting $$”
