“My insurence brocker called them selfs a "Insurence Intermediary", this means they are not the insurence company, just a sales team selling Insurance Polacies.
After 34 years of no accidents and no claims a young lady drove out of a Juntion 8nfront withought stopping to give way to us.
Her car was old and subsequently Writtern off?
Our car is 2015, to replace it would cost £7,000. So we looked at my brokers paperwork and called the Claims Number, we were directed to their Claims Handeler, who was a seperate company called Kindertons.
Immediately we recieved a Statement of Truth, we told them we had Pictures etc. So they sent a link , this happend 4 Time s ? In one month. Clearly they use part time staff and there is no guarantee youl get the same Handeler even if you telephone in, thus confusion and different staff didn't pass on details and Information, we recieved numerous requests for info and Pictures etc that we had already given and explained to them, everything we went through the whole process again.
Then they tried to send us a Hire car, Agreement with a GTA agreement attached. It stated that our car was Un Roadworthy and Required Recovery, and we could not Store the Vehicle, they arranged a Hire Car 7 days after the Accident , they said our car needed to go for further assesment, so immediately I got concerned and cancelled the hire car and GTA agreement as it states you can doo from between the 2nd day you sighned it ,upto 14 days for any reason what so Ever.
I then get a call asking why I have cancelled the claim, I said I've cancelled the Hire car and GTA because my wife is ill and were at hospital at the moment, so I cannot Recieve handover of the Hire car at the moment .
They said they would re instate the claim.
Subsequently after writing a Review on Trust Pilot, they replied to the review saying that 3 days after the Accident they already knew they had writtern my car off ???? And Valued it at £5,000.
And Co Port, the Inspection People who also own a Salvage, Storage and Auction Yard ? would have collected my car when the Hire car Arrived, thus the reason why they told us to leave the V5 and both Keys in the car for when they collect it ?
They wanted our car for Salvage and Auction it as a Repairer.
In the meantime I had gone out and got two independant Repair Qotes, £2,500 and 4,000.
clearly £3,000 was the bench mark.
So £7,000 and £3,000 to repair it ? So how is that writtern off ????
I then contacted AVIVA, and raised my concerns, they said they would not recommend using Kindertons, I explained I was directed automaticaly to them as the brokers claim handeller, Avida said as we are the Insurer who pays for it, we can take this case away from Kindertons as process your claim ourself, this they have.
So after taking my car to their approved repairer for inspection , Aviva hasn't writtern my car off and Autherised it to be Repaired.
You will see a AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST, Review further down, this mirrors my concern exactly.”
“I had an insurance with clements and after somebody broke my parked car, the car was taken and some money for the value of the car was promised.
I stopped receiving any contact from the last weeks and the incident was actually in beginning of October (exactly 155 days ago without me receiving the money promised)
I need to chase them for more info and if I actually needed the money urgently I would be struggling.

This company have absolutely no clue about accident management. If I could give a 0 star rating I would, but unfortunately this is not an option.
I was involved in a rear end non stop RTC on 09/12/22. Hyundai First took on my case on 10/12/22 & then appointed Kindertons Accident Management to deal with my claim.
I received a courtesy (rental) car very quickly which was good, but then again this is how they earn part of their money. They drag things out in a farcical way to clock up the income from an astronomically overpriced hire car and storage of your vehicle (wherever that may end up being)
My car was taken from my property on 19/12/22 on a flatbed truck. I was then contacted the following day by Danielle Brown - CLAIMS HANDLER –LEVEL 3 at Kindertons Accident Management asking for Dash Cam footage (that had already been provided) of the 09/12 incident. On 23/12/22 I was contacted by Kindertons and was informed that they would not be carrying out the repairs to my car because there is no clear picture of the registration of the offending vehicle that hit my car & fled the scene. I was offered no information or advice regarding the next steps and the call was ended (they then lied about what was said within this call).
After numerous unreturned calls to Kindertons, I finally got to speak with someone who informed me that the company had no idea where my car was. After more unreturned calls/numerous emails and having to threaten to report my car as being stolen, I was then contacted by James Williams at Kindertons on 28/12/22 who lied about the information allegedly given to me previously (he cockily stated “we record calls”) well guess what James, I obtained the recordings via a data access request and they prove your company has lied and falsified case notes. This call pretty much ended with my car being held to ransom by Kindertons until I meet their request of contacting my insurers myself and requesting my insurers contact Kindertons to confirm they will carry out the repairs.
Funnily enough, evidence of my formal complaints (that were ignored) were witheld by Kindertons from my data access request along with other information that could paint them in a bad light.
(A data access request can be submitted via email to Kindertons free of charge and can be escalated to the data commissioner if necessary)
Kindertons were contacted by my insurers multiple times and were not responding to them (dragging things out).
Kindertons were holding property that does not belong to them and were not complying with any contract that I had agreed to. All checks should have been carried out by Kindertons before they took my car under the false pretence of repairing it.
Kindertons have held my car for almost 3 weeks without doing anything that they promised and will no doubt be expecting someone to foot the bill for a significant payout for a courtesy (hire) car, transportation/storage of my car.
AVOID THIS DISGRACE OF A COMPANY AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!”
“They do not answer the phones, when you push the buttons they ask you to do to get to the proper department they do not work, they keep you on the phone but never answer it, The chat line never responds to you, they advised another company that I had 13 claims, I had no claims, they sent another persons details to MEM about me, they said I had an accident in York with a Red Kia, I have never had a Red Kia and never been in York, I live 350 miles away from York, Looks like this is a Proceeds of crime and money laundering operation”
“Joke of a company. Someone went into my car completely their fault which they are taking blame for. However workshop that my car went into came back with more faults than it did when it went in! 3 weeks later and still waiting on a resolution.
Phone them numerous times and eventually days later they get back to you and totally useless advice. I'm the innocent party here and Kindertoms meant to be acting on my behalf yet its like the total opposite. My anxiety and stress levels are through the roof.
Would NOT recommend this company at all.”

“Pig ignorant staff and a woeful company that is as equally as bad, not just on today's date date, from day one, commencing 08-09-2022, ignore information given to them and fill out forms with what they want to put on the forms, cannot be bothered to reply because it does not suit them to receive the replies that have been sent so they keep sending out the same questions as before! Insured with autonet my commercial van was damaged in a crash 4 weeks later it’s stuck on a garage waiting to be removed as the garage don’t do such repairs and I have spent 60 phone calls being passed from pillar to post to try and get my replacement vehicle I pay yearly for .. they claim someone will call back but never do they have cost me thousands in hiring vehicles while I wait as apparently the first vehicle had a nail in the tyre so that was one of a hundred excuses … it’s become a bit of a joke I’m getting a twitch with them calling up daily and still I’m van less an absolute tin pot shocking outfit and all proven liars too as my many phone calls can prove”
“Where to start with this absolute joke of a company. I was involved in a minor but clear as day non fault claim. We provided a long description of what happened and they lost it. We provided details of the witness and they lost it. We provided many photos of the accident and they lost it. Incompetence at it's finest. Obviously it's not nice having to do so much work when it's a non fault claim but you do it as you know it's better than the other party getting away with it. But what really isn't nice at all, is going to all that work and then the company losing it all. They didn't lose it all together either by the way. They lost all these vital documents at different stages of the claim. Three months later the other insurance company are having to carry out their own investigation. I email Kindertons for the 50th time (no exaggeration) asking why the other insurer need to investigate something so clear cut. "Well you don't have any witnesses" ..... Excuse me??? I gave you the witness details on more than occasion including my written transcript of exactly what happened!!" The witness even spoke to them on the phone 30 minutes after it happened!! What a joke! Seriously, don't risk it with these lot. I know you think, maybe it won't happen to you but is it worth it? You could end up losing thousands. Go with a company with a better track record ... Please!”
“Very very poor quality of services. Takes a lot of time to get anything done, they can't contact the third party at all. They are not even trying to end the case, they are actually doing nothing, and in the meantime the damaged car is still not repaired. Their reply is to do it by yourself. So there is no point in having their involvement in the case.

from the first 2 weeks things started going from bad to worst, so we complaint to kindertons, it took them over 2 months to investigate and then apologise to us, during the course of 2 months more complaints were made, but it all fell on deaf ears.
To cut a long story short we have been promised that we would get our losses only to be told at the end that NO as its not financial beneficial for Kindertons to take court action on our behalf, But kinderston were ok to take our money for providing us with curtsey car and other costs from third party BUT DO NOT WANT TO ARGUE OUR CASE as we are out of pocket financially.
Anyhow I challenge Kindertons to present there case here where people can judge for themselves.
