“I waited nearly 2 weeks for my order to arrive, when I got in touch I was told it hadn't completed for some reason and they did not know why. The candle was re-ordered for me and it arrived quickly the second time around. The candle itself is lovely.”
“When I chose additional items to be added (candle accessories), my order was confirmed. A few days later, I received an email notifying me that the items added were out of stock and I would get a refund (which I got). However, I would not have placed an order if I knew the accessories were out of stock because I didn’t want to buy a candle by itself (it’s for a gift). A few days later, I received a notification from the post office that I had to pay taxes in order to have my package delivered (21€). I would’ve liked to have known of the potential fees during the checkout of my order. Overall, the candles are nice but unfortunately I am disappointed due to the expensive taxes and the misinformation of the availability of the items.”

“I do love kindred fires candles, however, I was disappointed with my last order as previously when I have ordered, each candle has come in a separate box. This time I ordered two for Christmas presents and they came in the same box?”
“A nice subtle fragrance with a strong burn flame - a wee bit of tunnelling but not a problem. Nicely packaged but far too many info cards / leaflets etc inside (5 in my package).”
“Disappointed with myself making an incorrect date on the personalisation label then had to spend another, nearly £3 for another label after buying two candles plus. I paid for some matches and then saw ever candle came with complimentary ones-I ordered and paid for one lot but two candles but free ones never appeared plus both candles were dispatched in the same box-not good when they were two separate gifts!
They smelt amazing/gorgeous and I had received a delivery as a gift & was thrilled hence me doing the same for someone else but not sure I would bother again. Sorry.”

“I purchased a 50th birthday candle for a friend as I wanted a quality personalised product. Whilst I loved the fragrance and colour of the candle (velvet rose and oud) the personalised label was not to a good standard - the text was very small and did not ‘stand out’ - whilst I understand that the length of the message would affect the text, I used similar characters as the one advertised. It was the name that could barely be read. I did contact customer care and had a quick response (thank you) but I was just told that the text varies from product to product (a bit of a disappointing response given the cost of the candle!). I think the personalisation of a candle is a great idea but given my experience, and the cost of the candle, I would not purchase another.”
“Very poor website in terms on knowing what you were receiving when something is personalised. The summary of your purchase is confusing and I had to ask questions twice. Improvement required on placing a order, it should be visibly transparent.”

“Hi! I bought one of your candles for my granddaughter’ 21st birthday. Presentation was lovely but unfortunately the wick wasn’t quite central & therefore it didn’t burn evenly as it should! Little disappointing!”
“I was not going to complain about this as I love supporting small businesses, However I was slightly disappointed with my purchase due to the sticker being slightly wonky. I understand it was due to a busy Christmas period but it was clearly done with little care. The candle has a beautiful scent, amazing packaging just unfortunate about the sticker.”
