I like Koko chocolates its delicious but after this experience, you've lost me. Made a purchase of 13x 100g packs as gifts. Received the SMS advising they have processed my order and it's on its way. Only to chase them 5 days later because there hasn't been an update. Fair enough it was public holiday Friday but no one responded to my email then suddenly I got updates on SMS that it's been collected. Which is fine I understand delays just don't expect free shipping to be express 1-2 days like other companies. Once I received my package I opened it to only find that it wasn't my correct order. I ordered 13 packs for 13 educators and I received 6 X 100g and was replaced with 4 x larger packs which now leaves me 3 short. I'm not one to place reviews but I wasn't even advised of the changes and now I'm short and don't know what to do because I've waited so long for the delivery and I have to give the gifts away soon. Sorry Koko I won't be relying on you for gift ideas. Pretty disappointed.

I’ve placed 2 orders for delivery and on both occasions, the driver did not ring the doorbell. On the first delivery, the driver left the package in full sun. On the second delivery, the driver left the package at the wrong address. Fortunately the neighbours were honest and took it to my friend’s address, but by that time the ice pack was warm and some of the chocolates were heat affected. I shall not be using this service again.

Yeah the box is a bit boring with little to no variety. Lots of caramels and soft. Would be good to actually get some interesting chocs.

On the site they look alot bigger in the pictures they where really small when we got them

As I claimed before, the delivery service was not satisfying. They gave a totally wrong estimation for the delivery date to the home. This caused me a lot of inconvenience. Also, two out of four boxes of gift chocolate did not have a good best-before date. So it urged my friends and me to consume them as soon as possible rather than enjoy them during the Christmas holiday. So overall this purchase experience did exert negative impacts on my future purchase in KOKO black!

Chocolates great - delivery terrible. The company kept delivering everything on the weekend with no warning or option to change. we ordered 15 times for our clients and many were delivered on the weekend when they weren't open and were stolen.

I used to swear by Koko Black but I don't feel the quality is what it used to be and the sizing of things has reduced

I sent over $1000 worth of chocolates out to clients, one of our biggest didn't receive any chocolates, only the wrapping, box and our greeting card unfortunately no one was able to explain or help me, we had to make another order and lost our money.

Very disappointed as the specially ordered personalised 80th birthday greeting sleeve for the box of praline chocolates was missing, completely ruining the birthday surprise

I ordered the gift on Thursday 24th Nov 2022, it arrived Tuesday 6th Dec 2022 - It took 8 business days / 12 normal days to arrive. There was no indication on the website that there would be such a delay and purchases from other online stores were delivered in under 1 week. Considering this was a delivery within Sydney , and the suburb 5 kms from several KOKO stores, I had not anticipated that my friend would be in the hospital by the time it arrived. Lucky for good neighbors.

Does not give me any bag to gift them out. It's better to go in store so you can get gift bag.

The delivery was fine. Was a bit annoyed that I purchased during a promotion only for a better promotion to start the next day (which was then emailed to me). Also the advent calendar was really not worth it (wish the review were published earlier or if I missed them that I’d seen them) as it’s very basic.

Hi I received the items I ordered in good condition and well packaged. I really liked the Honey Joys (3X packets) and Honey Almond Nougat (1X packet). I however found the Fruity Nutty Drops in Milk Chocolate (3X packets) very unpalatable and ended up throwing the remainder of the packet I had opened in the bin. I have had the Fruity Nutty Drops before and know what they were like previously. In the packet I received the chocolate was sugary and somewhat grainy in texture and clearly was not made well. For the price that I paid I expected a better quality product and I regret ordering them as I have been unable to enjoy the remaining 2X packets. If I could return them for a refund I would. I will not be ordering this product in future. THankyou

The delivery was extremely delayed and while I understand it was at no fault of their own, it relied on me needing to follow up. Additionally, I feel that the product photos are misleading. The 40-50g blocks in the bundle photo look exactly the same as the 80-100g blocks, so I was disappointed to discover that 6 of the blocks were much smaller than expected. I accept that I didn’t read the weight of the included blocks, but your website on a mobile device doesn’t function well and I struggled to scroll across to read the inclusions.

Positive - Chocolates were delicious as always and I love that they are produced down the road in Coburg. Negative - but the delivery process was disappointing - I paid extra to keep them cool in transit but they went from Melbourne, Sydney to WA so this was a waste of $. It took 13 days to deliver to WA and the third delivery we’ve had issues with the gift going via Sydney. I submitted a complaint and haven’t had a response. Not sure if I will purchase a gift again.

While the chocolates are fine - the delivery leaves a lot to be desired. I paid for refrigerated, same day delivery. They shipped over several days, from Sydney, to Perth, and were left on the doorstep, in the sun, all day. Clearly they were not even remotely cold when they arrived.

Placed a delivery order on 15/6/2023, and at the time of this review, 28/06/2022, order still has not arrived. Contacted Koko’s customer service to be told due to an error they were never sent to the required destination and was only scanned into Brisbane yesterday, 27/06/2022. I’m still not sure why I kept coming back to Koko Black. However I’m now convinced I shouldn’t come back and spend more hard earned money.

I was very disappointed in the delivery times, especially since shipping was $15. Ordered on Sunday, the package wasn't dispatched until Tuesday afternoon, tracking didn't show any movement until five days later (Friday). I left a message on their online platform stating the alternate address on Friday afternoon (cause I wasn't going to be home). On Saturday morning I received a call "you're not at home" (at the original address). Anyway, I eventually received them late Saturday afternoon. The delivery was Brisbane, not some remote area. It would be really appreciated if delivery estimates were provided/accurate.
