Upon complaining, the cofounder emailed me to apologize. I do appreciate that and that earned them a star back. I hope they reevaluate their post-purchase marketing strategies, which really serve to cheapen their brand and damage the customer’s trust.
I would be wary of purchasing because the lazy and relentless marketing makes me wonder what else they might do with my information…”
“The concept of komuso is brilliant, the item is fabulous. However the ordering process is terrible. I ordered a komuso and deluxe chain, all said in
stock, after a week I was told the deluxe chain was out of stock, then told it's in stock in a different location. So they'd be sent separately. I received the komuso after a further two weeks but I'm still waiting for the chain after a further month. Still no sign of it turning up and I've given up and ordered another one from a different company, which arrived in 3 days. Customer service has been responsive to emails and gave me a discount but lacking in any effort to track where it is or if it'll ever get here. I bought this for a friends birthday, now it won't be here for Christmas !. The irony of this is I
fancied buying a silver one, after this ordering mess now I really need one !! .... but won't be ordering again .”
