“Today I went to Kosmic Sound in Osborne Park to ask someone to help me sort out my PA mixer. I didn't purchase it from them, and it is well and truly beyond the warranty period. I have been battling with it for a long time. To cut a long story short I was served by a young man who I would rate as being excellent. He took on my issue, made it his problem and resolved it. It did take a little while due to the complexity but to this young man's credit he did not give up. The whole time I was on the premises I felt welcome and that they wanted to help me. The customer service this fellow displayed was exactly what I needed. The business must be commended for employing him and the business must also commend him. Well done. First Class.”

“Sometimes they have great products, however, recently some staff are not very helpful or sincerely interested to help you. For example, if you like to set up your guitar neck or change your guitar strings, there will be only one or two members willing to help. Others are not really interested. In addition, their website is not working properly, you cannot even type your shipping address (it displays HTML code). When you try to purchase something they will be a minimum level of assistance even though there are several of them idle or not busy. Two years ago (the time when they re-open,) it was much better. Why do they employ some incompetent people? Why they are so lazy and ignorant?”

“Very disappointed that a longtime WA.company outsources their website to a company in the Philippines. The website is unreliable and poorly maintained. And when there was an issue I contacted the store in Perth and they didn't even know the names of the people who take care of all the infantry that goes through the website. Unfortunately they have lost my business”

“My experience today! - I’ve Been in the Perth music scene for 35+ years and played guitar for 45. Since my early teens I was always a loyal Kosmic customer (sill got my - one off the first KIP cards on the studio wall) Last 10 years has been average from them buying most of my gear elsewhere due to in store salespeople approach and prices far better online and at other local stores. ‘It’s a simple thing’ but today may have changed my opinion of Kosmic and likely to start using them again. Today I had a couple of hours to kill and since I am in the market for a new fender amp and tried two usual stores that unfortunately didn’t have what I was looking for and Kosmic did, I manned up, swallowed my pride and went to check out some amps! I was randomly approached but a fellow named Simmo who very quickly displayed genuine good characteristics and was extremely helpful with knowledgeable advice on Fender amps and offered some other suggestions that were new to me. To say the least, it was refreshing to meet him today and I’m sure others would have the same view, ask for him if your instore! Keep up the positive nature Simmo - you are an asset and I hope you are valued at Kosmic as much as your worth was to me. “Paid for an item that was marked on sale or price drop. Listing was taken down so I can't check that. Recieved all the usual confirmation emails, including the expected delivery time frame and payment recieved. Next thing they cancelled the order, claiming the price was a mistake and their system had automatically cancelled the order. Big waste of time ordering from them. Now have to wait for the refund process to be completed.”

“I am sorry this is a negative comment but hopefully constructive. I am from Perth, I made an online order for a guitar pedal on the 30th November, my bank account was immediately charged for the purchase and I had a message that the pedal was picked up from your Melbourne store and was on the way. To date, I haven’t received anything, no updates and when I went on the shipping tracker email link, it comes up as “oops, page is not available”. I called the Kosmic online dept thrice and was told “the pedal is definitely in the Perth depot and I will receive an updated email and the pedal will reach me soon”. To date, nothing has come and I have NOT received the promised email confirmation from your Kosmic online team (As promised). I am really disappointed with my experience. Mark”

“Well Done KOSMIC!!!!! I recently purchased Eric Claptons Little Black Song Book and a coiled Guitar cable online. Both items were out of stock or overpriced in NSW. Kosmic had both items, cost less, and free postage. I first shopped with Kosmic at Bentley Store in the 70s and have always found Kosmic staff to be helpful. Thanks for your great service.
