“I took Kurk for approximately 25 days.
Had some routine bloods taken and these showed I had elevated liver function (LFTs), indicating liver stress or/and damage. I also experienced debilitating fatigue, severe abdominal pain, and nausea so intense I couldn’t eat for three days—every attempt ended in vomiting.
Thankfully, my blood results gradually improved upon stopping the Kurk and my latest bloods 2 weeks later have shown improvement and I'm slowly feeling a little better.
I contacted the company to inform them of what had happened. I received a generic apology, along with a vague acknowledgment that curcumin *can* cause liver issues in some cases. I wasn’t offered a refund, so I asked if I could have one—given the product not only failed to help but clearly made me unwell I felt it was only fair. I said I could even send evidence in the form of my GP notes if necessary.
I was told I couldn’t receive a refund because more than 60 days had passed. Considering it takes several weeks for these kinds of adverse effects to present, it wouldn’t have been possible to notify them any sooner.
To make matters worse, they offered to send me a free bottle of the product that had harmed me—an offer that felt dismissive and frankly inappropriate.
I’m sharing this experience to make others aware: while curcumin is often seen as safe, it can have serious side effects for some people. Please consult your doctor and monitor your health closely if you decide to try it.”

We are different to most companies in our industry in that we control all parts of our product - the research, development, pilots, production and even delivery - so we are genuinely interested in any adverse outcomes.
Although we have a strong team of doctors and research scientists, we always advise consulting your GP when starting any new supplement, especially if you're managing ongoing health concerns. Your doctor will have the best understanding of how new additions may interact with your system, and they all know about curcumin research.

“My problem is not with the product at this stage but the way in which the subscription works. I have purchased one to try, using the Apple Pay option. However when I try to login using the very email that is used it tells me that my email is not valid….. which is a problem if you want to change or cancel a subscription. I wouldn’t purchase anything from here unless you already have an account set up initially. I find this to be a bit underhanded, as I have never had this problem with subscription based sales like this before. And now in reading other reviews on here and other platforms, see that I am not the only one that has brought this issue up. I certainly hope the product is good, because this initial experience has already left me doubting on a repurchase. Also have tried contacting them and it says it’s out of working hours even though it was at 10am Monday. Thinking of cancelling card. Beware.”

Hi Martin, Many of our customers reported positive results by doubling their daily dose. Have you tried doubling your daily dosage? If your health concerns are more serious or you're not feeling the effects then we do advise you to up the dose because curcumin needs to be built up in your system when you first start taking it. Doctors call this a Loading Dose. From our experience with customer feedback, this loading dose can range from 1ml-2ml, again depending on what you're taking it for. The good news is that once your body starts showing the benefits, you can drop down to a Maintenance Dose which is 1ml of Kurk. Let us know how it goes for you. “I have been in cronic pain for the last 1½ yrs. I am on my second bottle of Kurk and it has helped a lot. It hasn't got rid of the pain but it is a lot more manageable. I use the vanilla flavour in a cup of coffee in the morning and it tastes really nice.
Also i had to contact Kurk and their response times were excellent and they sorted my problem out immediately.

Take 1ml in the morning and another 1ml in the night time, most people find this beneficial. As sometimes more chronic conditions benefit from a higher dose temporarily—then, when you feel some relief we suggest dropping back to the daily dose of 1ml for maintenance. We'd love to know how you'd get on with this when you start doubling your dosage.
