During a purchase I told the assistant that a carpet sweeper I'd recently bought there had lost a rubber bumper but that I didn't have the receipt. She immediately said bring the item back for an exchange, which suited me perfectly.

Generally Lakeland are marvellous. However, today I took delivery of a large order of melamine crockery for the garden. Beautiful - but totally marred by the fact that I have spent over 2 hours trying to remove sticky labels from everything. I reckon they use Gorilla glue because even with specialist sticky remover (which promptly removed my new gel nails), the task was awful. Still haven't got it all off so not happy. Not perhaps Lakelands fault, but someone should tell the manufacturers of these products that they use the wrong glue and nearly ruin their own products.

I always get my kitchen and baking equipment from them. Everything is good quality and worth every penny it cost and last a long time. The service is second to none for despatch times as well.

I was able to buy my niece an 'e voucher' for her house-warming present, so she can buy good-quality kitchen goods either in person or online

"high quality products and good customer service. they only sell what they sell though. they are not like a indie kitchen shop who will get stuff in for you. Sadly they put our indie kitchen shop out of business in Epsom."

I am very disappointed and frustrated. I purchased a drying cabinet (£129). The remote didn't work and I had safety concerns about the wobbly heating element. I filled out two online forms and submitted my details to an online chat. Nothing. Finally, I rang and spoke to an operative who was so disengaged he was yawning loudly while I was talking. He didn't/wouldn't/couldn't address any of my concerns but booked a replacement (fingers crossed, I thought). The replacement arrived (not on the day stated) and has a faulty remote and a wobbly element - just like the previous unit - and I have lost 3hrs+ of my time, assembling, disassembling, packaging, trying to find a way to get someone to respond to me at Lakeland etc. So, in conclusion, they do honour their no-quibble replacement policy (hence two stars) but in all other respects their customer service is non-existent. I would have much rather resolved this with the company than leave a bad review but that just doesn't seem to be possible.

I bought a thermospatula a couple of years ago but the battery was impossible to replace, so I bought their new thermospoon. This fell apart when its packaging was carefully removed and had to be put together again. It was the flimsiest utensil I have ever come across. The bowl of the spoon is floppy and the thermometer tore it. The panel showing the temperature is sideways, unlike the discontinued spatula, and is only readable when held in the right hand. Total waste of money. Delivery was slower than most firms. The yoghurt maker I purchased at the same time looks to be fine but I have not used it yet.

I love this shop, I always visit if I am in a town that has one, the staff are always brilliant, sadly the call centre and online ordering is poor. I brought the deluxe airer at £169, after 4/5 days of no delivery information I called them, was told the tracking number, they didn’t know why I had received it, tracking was poor and didn’t give me any confirmation. Then the next day I received delivery details. My order will be delivered between 10 and 12, I got this at 11am. The package arrived open and without instructions. Later the cover arrived. A few days later I received my points card. The next day I received another card for my address with someone else’s name on it. Just too much of a coincidence so I called them, I got a very snotty Lakeland rep who was rude and unhelpful. I’ll think twice before ordering online. It’s a shame as it’s changed my view of Lakeland.

If. Anyone purchases from this company. Please be aware of the delivery company they use. I am a disable customer that uses delivery services regularly.. I ordered a product from this company and when delivered the driver was rude and threatening. Which has resulted in me contacting the police as the company have not dealt with my experience with out any urgency.. Advice if your elderly or very ill like myself. Be aware

I bought a lakeland Mini Multi cooker. I have not used it as I am waiting for them to suppy me with an instruction book that was missing from the box. They did say I could download it and then print it out. I said I didn't have a printer so couldn't do that. Lakeland then said they would do it and send it to me. I have said I want a proper book not sheets of paper. I then phoned their head office and was told if I went back to the shop they would take one out of another box for me. then phoned the shop and told them what head office had said and asked them if they could take one out of another box and post it ti me as it is a 40 miles round trip for me to go back to the shop and it would cost me £2.70 to park. They said they would do that. That was on Friday18th January, I have not received it yet so will give them a couple more days then contact them again if I have not got it.
