“Please do not use this company it is the worst laundry service I have ever received. There is no phone contact number. Their prices are extortionate and they accept no responsibility whatsoever. They returned a white bra back to me blue, they put the bra in their dryer when the label clearly stated do not tumble dry with two pairs of navy blue jeans. The jeans arrived back all screwed up and were just thrown into a returns bag. Please avoid at all costs. This site does not allow me to upload my photos. I’ve tried multiple times.”
“Absolutely unacceptable service.
I scheduled a pickup the night before for next-day wash and fold service. Laundryheap picked up my clothes as scheduled and promised delivery between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM that same evening.
The delivery window came and went with no clothes and no communication. They then tried to reschedule delivery for the following evening, despite me explaining that I was flying out of Amsterdam the next morning and would no longer be in the country.
After I stressed the urgency of the situation, I was assured my laundry would be delivered by 11:00 PM that night. That never happened. Around 11:00 PM, the driver’s live tracking suddenly disappeared, and I had to chase customer support for updates. Instead of providing answers, I was given conflicting information and the runaround.
Now it appears they expect me to collect my laundry myself from their facility, but they haven’t even provided the address. To make matters worse, the facility doesn’t open until 9:00 AM, which is around the time I need to be leaving for my flight. As of 5:30am they still don’t know which facility has my laundry so it looks like my clothes will be staying in Amsterdam.
This company has left a traveler without their clothes on the eve of an international departure. Missing a delivery is one thing. Failing to communicate honestly, making promises you don’t keep, and leaving customers scrambling at midnight is another.
I would strongly recommend avoiding Laundryheap if you have any time-sensitive travel plans. Their failure to deliver on their promises turned what should have been a convenient service into one of the most stressful parts of my trip.”
“So annoyed, sent 3 bags full of clothes on Sunday 12th July drop back Monday 13th July only 2 bags, clothes do not belong to me. I was cleaning full wardrobe so I now have no clothes. Paid £60 for the washing and drying to actually get someone else order.
I have contacted customer support but had no response.
Please see pictures attached if they belong to anyone please let me know.
I will however requesting a full refund as this is a major inconvenience.
Please contact me if the clothes belong to anyone.”
“Absolutely appalling service. I had booked a two-piece suit dry clean and a shirt iron and wash. It was collected on Tuesday night and planned to be delivered on Thursday, so 48 hours. They then changed the booking delivery to Friday between 12:00 and 15:00, which I accepted as my event was at 16:00. They have now, on the same day as delivery changed the booking to 19:00 to 22:00. After I complained, they moved it to 17:00 to 19:00 so no matter what, I do not have a suit for my event this evening because they changed the booking on the day. They have had my suit for 72 hours now. I have offered to even collect it; however, apparently the facility doesn't open until 17:00. So the time of 12:00 today could have never happened. I have been asked to follow the complaints procedure and that I will get a discount on my next order. I WILL NEVER USE LAUNDRYHEAP again. If they were unable to do it within my timeframe, even though it's been 72 hours, I should have been told, and I would have gone to another dry cleaner. Addition: item has now been moved back to Monday of the following week so they have had my items for 6 days now, i still do not have them back the event has now been missed so no point using this service complete waste of momey and time.”
“My wife received her coat with stains!!! This is not acceptable. There is no phone line either. How can you run and pretend to be a good company with no phone line. Not happy at all!!!”
“This is the worst service I have ever received from any company. The very fact that you can not contact them on the telephone is an insight into their lack of care for you as a customer. They lost our laundry, which is a problem in its own right, but I then spent 2 weeks of endless WhatsApp messages from different people stating absolutely nothing. These messages only came however, after I complained that they did not respond to my complaint. They are now telling me that they 'may consider compensating me' if they think it necessary. I in the meantime have had to purchase £400 worth of new sheets. Do not use them!! Terrible company!!”
“I ended up with damaged and lost clothes, burned underwear torn to pieces and when I raised the issue they said it was not their responsibility, then ignored me when I asked for compensation!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS”
“I had a terrible experience with Laundryheap. One of my items was returned damaged and stained, and when I raised the issue, their support team apologized but offered almost no real solution.
According to their terms and conditions, they claim to refund the fair value for damaged items — but in reality, they only gave me a £10 in-app credit, which is completely unfair considering the item’s actual cost £100
It’s disappointing to see a company take so little responsibility. The service might be convenient, but if something goes wrong, you’ll end up losing both your clothes and your money. I wouldn’t recommend using Laundryheap again.”
“I used LaundryHeap for the first time a couple weeks ago. I did not realise they gave me back the wrong suit until a week later when I was getting ready for a work function. So, the collected the wrong suit, and lost my €300 suit, only two months old. I should have known not to trust them as there is no way to contact them by phone.”
“Rushed back from work and cancelled a few appointments tonight just to wait for nothing. Driver didn't bother calling, nor ringing my door bell. There wasn't a missed call at all. Then I get a notification that the collection was unsuccessful. I cannot call Laundry Heap because there's no contact number and when I did eventually get a number, no one picked up the call. I had to rely on chat, and no one actually answered me until hours and hours later. I've been a long time customer of laundry heap but tonight's terrible service has made me think twice. I've cancelled the order and I will uninstall the app. Terrible terrible Terrible.”
“Do not use this service. Absolutely awful experience. Used it for the first time and was incorrectly charged almost a £150 for ONE bag of laundry priced at £17.95 on the app. They incorrectly labelled the items and charged me per item. I spoke to various customer service agents and we just continued to go round in circles. They refused to offer a refund or discount.
The Landry was returned damp and smelled awful.”
“Absolutely terrible experience with this company. They overcharged me for cheap clothes, added services I never agreed to, and now they are trying to charge me even more—listing two towels when I only sent ONE! They haven’t even returned my clothes, and I’ve been left completely in the dark. No proper phone number to call, no real customer support, and every reply is just delay and excuses.
I’ve already reported this company to the Amsterdam Consumer Protection and UK International Consumer Centre, because this is no longer just bad service—it feels like a scam.
You can’t treat customers like this and expect to get away with it. I won’t stay silent until I get my clothes back and this bill corrected.”
“Worst laundry! Expensive and they charge me two times, and couldn’t clean perfectly. My dress was with a bad smell, that didn’t disappear. I gave to other laundry they made it easily. Don’t recommend!”
“I’ve been using Laundryheap for a while, and while the drivers are always lovely and efficient, the customer service is extremely poor. As a busy medic, I value organization and quick communication, but I’ve been asking the same question since this morning without any response. I’ve seen the customer service associate, Varun, going online and offline multiple times, completely ignoring my three messages.
Additionally, my friends have received numerous discounts for future orders, but when I inquired about this, I was also ignored. It shows a lack of business acumen and consideration for loyal customers. To make matters worse, I wanted to add an extra bag to my pick-up to save on unnecessary trips, but my request was disregarded. It seems they’d rather do two or three trips than listen to a simple customer request, which makes no sense logistically.
Sadly, I won’t be using Laundryheap again after today . While the drivers are fantastic, the lack of customer care is too frustrating to deal with so I’ll be taking my lucrative business elsewhere”
“No calls all in shadows by agent on email, Mr Arnold.
Very confusing consultant service, even though they did a mistake. Has never offered to fix it but to confuse me more. Never again.
Please note that you will be charged for the clean & iron amount if we have processed your clothes under clean & iron service as per your selection.
Also, note that the mixed wash price of AED 65 will be removed once the items are ironed. The only price that will be charged is the price of clean & iron service for each item that you sent.”
“I’ve used this company in Bahrain they have held my clothes for three days you can’t call them you can’t email them you can’t go down and collect your clothes they just keep them till they want to deliver two days I’ve been waiting in and still not got them back please use another company useless”
“Whilst our laundry was collected (and returned) the same day, I was initially confronted with a 'tip' request during the actual booking. Seriously, they wanted a GBP10 tip... for a GBP25 service??
Also, all of our clothes, whilst washed and dried, arrived back incredibly creased, as they'd been thrown into a bag straight from the dryer.
NOT IMPRESSED !!!”
