“I’ve been using Laundryheap for a while, and while the drivers are always lovely and efficient, the customer service is extremely poor. As a busy medic, I value organization and quick communication, but I’ve been asking the same question since this morning without any response. I’ve seen the customer service associate, Varun, going online and offline multiple times, completely ignoring my three messages.
Additionally, my friends have received numerous discounts for future orders, but when I inquired about this, I was also ignored. It shows a lack of business acumen and consideration for loyal customers. To make matters worse, I wanted to add an extra bag to my pick-up to save on unnecessary trips, but my request was disregarded. It seems they’d rather do two or three trips than listen to a simple customer request, which makes no sense logistically.
Sadly, I won’t be using Laundryheap again after today . While the drivers are fantastic, the lack of customer care is too frustrating to deal with so I’ll be taking my lucrative business elsewhere”
“No calls all in shadows by agent on email, Mr Arnold.
Very confusing consultant service, even though they did a mistake. Has never offered to fix it but to confuse me more. Never again.
Please note that you will be charged for the clean & iron amount if we have processed your clothes under clean & iron service as per your selection.
Also, note that the mixed wash price of AED 65 will be removed once the items are ironed. The only price that will be charged is the price of clean & iron service for each item that you sent.”
“I’ve used this company in Bahrain they have held my clothes for three days you can’t call them you can’t email them you can’t go down and collect your clothes they just keep them till they want to deliver two days I’ve been waiting in and still not got them back please use another company useless”
“Whilst our laundry was collected (and returned) the same day, I was initially confronted with a 'tip' request during the actual booking. Seriously, they wanted a GBP10 tip... for a GBP25 service??
Also, all of our clothes, whilst washed and dried, arrived back incredibly creased, as they'd been thrown into a bag straight from the dryer.
NOT IMPRESSED !!!”
“Avoid. Over £50 of clothes has been lost by them. I have skin allergies so it is hard for me to replace clothes easily. I contacted customer service and all they offered was £10 off my next wash. No thanks! Genuinely shocked at how bad they have been”
“Do not use this service. I have used them more than 5 times and everytime there has been a problem. Delay in delivery /items missing / other people’s clothes being delivered with yours.
I gave them one last chance. They talked to deliver the first night ( there is a 24 Conceirge in the apartment - how ?!). But second night was the worst. Van arrived. Sat outside my place but forever didn’t get out - I literally had to chase the driver as he was leaving. To find he didn’t have my laundry. He wasn’t even going to tell me. Then marked the account as I wasn’t there to receive!! Even more frustrating is there help service. Which frankly is no help, and all the worse, I am traveling now without my clothes.
I will never use them again. Worst customer service I have received for a very long time.”
“Terrible service. Very delayed return of laundry. Misleading text messages about return of laundry resulting in waste of time. Zero customer support. Overall an extremely poor service and much more expensive than expected. Avoid. Would never use again.”
“Avoid at all cost. Shady company. No telephone number..they refuse to talk to customers when there is a problem. And there are frequent problems. Rarely as advertised ... could be 2 or more days before you get your clothes back..assuming you get back the correct order. Avoid.”
“I have sent expensive garments (Comme de Garçon and Sandro) for cleaning as I thought it would be better than washing them at home. A white shirt with black print and a beige t-shirt. They both came back ruined with blue stains and they claimed that it was dye from the print and they followed the cleaning instruction which is totally and factually false. Additionally, in line with their terms and conditions, they have no insurance, so they have the right to 1) charge for the service, 2) permanently destroying your garment and 3) take absolutely no responsibility for it. Stay away from this guys, I wouldn’t even trust them to wash Pennyes socks.”
“I used laundry heap in Netherlands 3 times and they screwed up my ordered each time.
1) I sent one load under 6kgs and was invoiced for 2. After some arguements, they fixed the bill.
2) I sent 1 load and 1 jacket for dry clean, they lost the jacket. I got it back after 3 days
3) I sent one load and 1 shirt to iron with clear instructions of which is which. The order I selected showed the correct amount, but they invoiced me double and ironed all the clothes. I raised the issue to them and they refused to refund.
Really terrible business, prone to mistakes and don’t take accountability. Do not use”
“Extremely Dissatisfied with Laundryheap ServiceI am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by Laundryheap. My recent experience with their app has been nothing short of a nightmare.Upon using their service for the first time, I entrusted Laundryheap with my laundry, including two jumpers, one of which was a brand new Polo Ralph Lauren. To my dismay, both jumpers were shrunk beyond wearable condition. When I reached out to the resolution center to address the issue, I was appalled by the response I received from the assistant named Gunjan. Instead of taking responsibility for the mishap, Gunjan had the audacity to blame me for not providing instructions to wash the jumpers separately from the rest of the laundry bag. What's even more shocking is their policy to charge customers extra money directly from their card if they believe the contents of the laundry bag don't match what was paid for. While I was confident in their ability to sort the garments appropriately, they failed miserably, leaving me with unwearable items and a significant loss.As a supposed "good gesture," Gunjan offered me a mere £10 discount voucher for my next order, which I find insulting given the extent of the damage caused to my clothing. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and disillusioned with Laundryheap's service.I must emphasize that this was my first and last time using Laundryheap. Their incompetence, lack of customer care, and disregard for quality are appalling. I strongly advise against using their service to anyone considering.”
“I writing this review because I am so outraged at the service I have received from Laundry Heap -- not once but twice -- and how easy it is for them to to extract money from their unwitting customers. I have never had a problem with their bedding services but I recently sent some beach cover ups for wash and ironing. Little fast fashion cotton dresses. They decided they were "delicate" and charged me to dry clean them all at a cost of 100 GBP. At no point did they message or call to ask if it was ok to change the service -- the first time I found out was when I received the garments and bill. Something similar had happened once before (both times they refuse to engage and just say they decided it needed special treatment). Be very wary of using this company. There are many better out there.”
“Avoid! I was waiting for them at the time of collection, and they suddenly sent a message of 'No Show'! This is unbelievable, and I am disappointed with their terrible service.”
“AVOID AVOID AVOID I gave them a 2 piece suit and a 3 piece suit for dry cleaning around late November. They returned the items and I kept them in the plastic so as to not crease them, and hung them up as I had a wedding in late December. When I came to check the items, a pair of trousers from the 2 piece suit were missing. I was advised the laundrette was closed until 9th of Jan but they would get back to me then, they have offered me a 25 euro voucher. That's it. No trousers. No compensation.
The owner keeps replying to my reviews saying that the offered me compensation but as outlined above its nowhere near suitable. He's full of s**t.
Don't use this company”
“Laundry Heap took the same order from me most week that come to anywhere between £38-£60.
Then suddenly for the same load they said I clicked iron on my Non crease (therefore doesn’t need ironing) bedding, therefore they charged me £343! They refused to refund me and said that that’s the cost and they ironed the sheets (that didn’t need ironing).
They have completely lost a customer! Be careful of a crazy bill form them! They are not to be trusted as they just help themselves to your bank without any pre warning!”
“I had delivery scheduled for afternoon on December 24th. No buzz at my door, no calls - I only found out it had supposedly been tried when the app said failed delivery, with redelivery scheduled for after I left London (on business). I was only here on holiday, with few clothes and suits, so I contacted them and they rearranged delivery for that evening.
That one I did get updates for, but suddenly it failed to when they were just on their way to me (just one or two stops away), and delivery was automatically rearranged for even later after I was already gone. They told me it was because the vehicle had broken down.
After contacting them, firmly and politely, for two days (offering to go and collect my stuff from them, or asking them to send it in a taxi, and even paying to push back my travels so they could deliver on the morning of the 27th), they finally let me know mid afternoon on 26th the real reason my delivery hadn't arrived: part of my order (or maybe part - I can't tell whether this is the truth either) had been misdelivered. They were only going to go collect it on the afternoon of the 27th, after I am gone, despite knowing that, and deliver it even later. I am already 100 quid down on shifting my travel times, have heard nothing else, and tomorrow I will likely have to spend even more buying new clothes, including suit trousers, various underclothes, and a coat. Thus far, all they have offered is 10 pounds credit, and no promise of a refund, despite every failure (including the lies) being on their part. I will update this review if and when a solution is offered, but thus far I haven't heard back from them - and it has been many hours.
My advice: don't use this service. There are many others in London that actually have contact numbers and better reviews. They are good on trust pilot, and my friends and family have had good experiences when it works, but looking more widely I have seen a number of issues like mine (although the lies are a new one).”
“Worst Company for laundry!!! CHEATERS AND SCAMMER.. NO NUMBER TO CALL IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUE, AND THEY WILL TAKE MONEY FROM THE CARD WITHOUT AUTHORISATION.”
