My god what a shabby dirty old place, security staff that clearly don’t want to be there judging by their attitude and body language, world duty free still same old stock as last year but now with added self service that isn’t, still have to get staff to seal your purchases so what’s the point? Boots shop with a good amount of different toiletries, sunscreen and other products you need on holiday, also good meal deals but again these dreadful self service checkouts that provide more trouble then it’s worth 😡 WH Smith so extremely overpriced it’s criminal. Bars and coffee outlets galore at costs that make your wallet cry. Nowhere to sit in that place, far too hot..do they not have aircon?

Deserves no stars, it is filthy, escalators and lifts not working, trying to get from the plane through customs with a baby was horrendous! There is not even a baby changing facility where you wait for your luggage. Nearly an hour we waited for our pram and we couldn't even change our toddlers nappy. Absolutely disgusting airport! Money grabbing horrid people who run that place.

The airport looks very scruffy in parts. Bits of wood missing from doors, lots of paintwork needed. Some of the ceiling panels are yellowing. Coming back through the prefab recently there was a bucket collecting water from a ceiling leak. You might be excused for thinking you were arriving at a 3rd world airport if you were arriving here for the first time.

The worst airport ever. They show the flight gate number with just 30-40 minutes before departure which it's the same time with gate closure, and if you find the gate in the last 20 minutes you have huge chance not to be allowed to embark because even the staff have ZERO respect for customers.I know to many people who lost their flight for this scammers. AVOID AVOID AVOID this mockers!!!

Where do I start.. ages to get through security, staff slow but friendly, coming through duty free , not bought anything, into the terminal the heat inside was horrendous!!! Portable fans!?!? Have they got no air conditioning? Overcrowded NO seating, people sitting on the floor and the stairs, how this is allowed is beyond me, don’t they have fire regulations regarding this and the amount of people inside a building ? overflowing bins, dirty toilets, some taps not working in toilets, dirty , dirty everywhere you look 👀. Nothing but bars and coffee outlets overpriced. WH Smith is very expensive and where is the staff!? Boots had nice priced meal deals , reasonable priced toiletries and friendly staff, not keen on the self service till .

What a filthy dump. Ridiculous queue at passport control down a corridor full of rubbish. Avoid this airport if you have a choice

I was dropping my son off last week and stopped in the short-stay drop off as he was late for his flight. We were virtually there for 3 minutes and had to pay £6 charges to get passed the barriers to exit. Daylight Robbery and all about money - Avoid if you can!!!

This is absolutely filthy. I would rather fly using any other airport than this place. The management should hang their heads in shame then roll their sleeves up and do some cleaning. When was the last time anyone from the company management walked around... with eyes open? Truly shameful in September 2023 to expect customers to put up with such appalling conditions.

Filthy, shabby, disgusting. In sharp contrast to the airport at my outgoing destination. I actually felt embarrassed that this is what will greet visitors as they enter the country. Utterly appalled.

Sat on plane for over 30 minutes waiting for a bus. Got to terminal and waited for someone to open to building!!! Then waited in the longest queue for passport control. Leeds Bradford has got to be the worst airport in Europe. Not unusual to face this level of incompetence at LBA.

My first summer flight since before COVID and unfortunately I chose to fly from Leeds Bradford. It would not be an exaggeration to say this airport is comfortably the worst I have ever experienced in my nearly 50 years of flying including so called ‘third world countries’. It is squalid (spills, stains, rubbish), overcrowded to the point of being dangerous, hot and stuffy. There is no seating because it has all been given over to sell more stuff to the hoardes of unwitting tourists. I feel desperately sorry for the staff who work here in whatever capacity. Whoever is running this place (no doubt on a huge salary) should be brought to task immediately. It is a disgrace.

What a complete shambles. No e passport gates, took over an hour to collect cases after being told they were on three different carousels. Kids running riot, one of whom pressed the emergency stop on one carousel and it took 10 minutes to get it going again. If you designed an airport to be hopeless it would look like LBA. AVOID! Next time we will use Manchester despite living half an hour from LBA.

Bit of an issue finding space in pre-booked Long Stay car park but bus service to terminal. Easy check-in and quite quick through security but very busy in departure areas, long queues for food and drink. 1 hour flight delay - thanks TUI , we've come to expect this of you! Absolut nightmare on return! Coach from plane to terminal, then queued in rain as literally hundreds of people tried to get in a single door and up a single flight of stairs. It got worse as we joined a massive barely moving queue stretching out of sight to get to passport control. More flights arriving behind us still standing outside. Worst of all, there are NO toilets until you get through passport check. When finally got there, four desks open, very slow progress not helped by the fact that a fifth officer stood at the head of the queue to direct you to the next available officer. We could see when they became vacant ! - she could have speeded things up 20% by opening another desk. Took an hour and a half to get through then search in grubby luggage retrieval, then queue for bus to get back to car park, then three hour drive to get home. All this because we'd had bad experience flying from Manchester before - or so we thought, but, compared to this, just a walk in the park! NEVER, EVER AGAIN!! You are a total disgrace Leeds Bradford and the management need to sort this out or nobody will choose to fly from here.

Got there in plenty of time before early morning flight. Airport became very busy, no air on, sweltering heat. Cafe’ open but charged extortionate sum for two teas. Went through security fast track no problems. On arrival back in UK Sept 25 2022, had to board bus to terminal, all passengers from flight, hearded like in a cattle wagon. Then what next, there was difficulty setting off, may be something to do with air brakes. Then at the terminal the escalator was not working, hence people had to climb stairs, I was fortunate to use lift, as have arthritis. Border security were more efficient and communicative this time, more staff, thus less time queuing. Baggage reclaim awful, no air con, very hot. Too many flights in at same time, you could not move. It was a very stressful experience to say the least.
