House we decided to rent was refurbished! Nearly a skip full of rubbish was left behind by contractors and we had to sort it out. Agent had months to clear this and didn't. Only after threatening calls was it seen to. 4 days without hot water - agents owed money to Gas and Electric so prepaid meters kept gobbling our money!!!! We had to go shower at my daughter's house. We rented the house with a working shed - shed roof was practically non existent and we were told before we even signed the lease that it was going to be taken care of. It was only fixed a few days ago after waiting nearly 6 weeks! Our garden equipment was sitting outside under a tarpaulin. Luckily there was no rain. I do not like to complain as I often feel it doesn't accomplish much but on this occasion, OMG!!! I can only hope and pray that it improves from now on. Very, very disappointed in the lack of professionalism. Oh and my 15 year old niece decorates better than the contractors did! Sloppy third rate work.

After strolling through the net to find reviews on Lenwell Estate Agents (They will not list there business on Google because they know and fear the negative reviews they will receive) The ones i found which fairly criticise them are 100% true, and this is being verified by a tenant who’s been with them for awhile Been a tenant for a while with Lenwell, if reporting issues they generally will prolong and most times not respond at all unless chased up multiple times. Then one particular individual always sounds sarcastic and as though you are lying when reporting issues or will recommend fixing issues yourselves. Overall Very poor to respond in helping tenants resolve issues. Seem frustrated and sarcastic down the phone (if you don't like this job find something else) not sure who the owner is but i am someone who has their own business and i would be mortified to employ staff with those type of manners and attitude In this and age you cannot hide your bad practices it will eventually catch up and leave a bitter taste with customers, fix up or shut down

Incredibly patronising and disrespectful. Should work on delivery. I understand that some land lords wish to rent their properties as soon as possible but I 1) do not appreciate being talked to like a child when I’m looking to spend upwards of £900/month on rent, 2) do not appreciate being talked over and 3) do not appreciate outright rudeness. Instead of treating me like I’m stupid and refusing to answer my question regarding the availability of other properties he continued to talk over me and “remind me” of the landlords perspective. I will not be working with or renting from this estate agents in the future.

The worst agency ever. With getting the flat was no issue. We got part furtished apartment and agent made a note about flat contidion. Which was totally uselles because when we left the flat they did not agree with things which were already broken before. Also we were waiting over a year for someone to come and fix the window, as it was not closing. Very good feeling in witer time. When we left we were not getting deposit back for many months. Thanks god that TDS helped us. Lenwell holds deposit money and does not want to give back.

I will state the facts and it's upto you to decide if your agency acted professionally. I had a viewing scheduled for two properties at 3:30 PM in the Hub araa, Milton Keynes on 29th May. When nobody came at the given time, I called and was informed that the appointment was canceled and somebody left a voice mail informing me of the same. I hadn't received any such communication. And there was neither a text or an email regarding the cancelation. I asked if I could view the other property. I was given a new time for 5:30 PM the same day. I agreed although I had traveled from st Albans for the viewing and had to catch a train back in the evening. I reached the property again at the given time and I got a text saying my viewing was again cancelled. I could have traveled back sooner and not had to wait for another hour for my next train. I know this review isn't going to be published but at least it should be a reminder going forward.

I never actually spoke to anyone. I rang for 2 hours one day and no one would answer the phone, I then was at work a few days later when I received a phone call back which I obviously couldn't answer at work. No message left just an evaluation form for an emily sivyer who I have no idea who that is. If you want to sell a property I suggest you follow through, leave messages and organise times to call back a little better. I have a house now so will no longer be requiring your help. Very disappointed.

Staff are slightly rude, they clearly don’t read people’s comments when enquiring about a property. They then pretend to transfer you to a Northamptom office when there clearly is no Office it’s probably someone working from home. Who clearly doesn’t know what customer service is or how to talk to people

At the end of 3 year tenancy after paying rent on time every month, I had my entire deposit taken for wear and tear (i.e. marks in hallway). Attempted numerous times to discuss this with Lenwell staff who didn't care at all and even put the phone down on me. After several weeks of stress I put a claim through TDS and got the majority of my deposit refunded. Lenwell staff were happy just to take my deposit without even discussing the issues with me as they are required to do by law. They were rude and unhelpful and only cared about protecting the landlord's profit. Never ever use Lenwell

No communication on any level from this agent. Tried for a week to get a reply on any voice call, text or email. Avoid lenwells like the plague and use a more reputable agent. Their website states that they offer exeptional levels of customer service and personnel training but this is not the case. They push for payment and if you change your mind they make it extremely difficult to get your money back. Avoid,avoid,avoid !

All you need to do is scroll through a few pages of reviews on here to see Lenwell are dishonest. Terrible people, terrible service. Avoid.

Lenwell offers a poor service in terms of replying to emails or phone calls. They do not provide a professional service and are reluctant to provide a full customer service when an issue has been raised. You are constantly chasing for an answer once a query has been raised, you are constantly told someone will get back to you but this is never the case. Lenwell's is not a service I would recommend to anyone. In a growing market with so much competition from other letting agents they are by far the worst letting agents I have come across.

Money grubbing, no contact goes without charge. Excessive deposit deduction (overcharging for feasible deductions), lost one key I returned but cant prove it. Thats just the end of the tale. Ineffective management, reported house defects go months without being resolved, have to chase them every minute of everyday, cheap contractors used, inspect the place every 3 months so annoying, dont fix anything THEY report to themself, basically an ongoing storm of you know what for a decade. Nice people. Admin procedures and company culture is dismal.
