Was making custom bucket hats for my friends, and the design program leads you to believe a front design will run right in the middle of the seam- so I opted for a side design to avoid the seam (as shown in their pictures) and all the hats I purchased ended up with a tiny design on the front!!! This could be easily fixed on the site so it’s not misleading. Customer service said there’s nothing they can do - I told them to at least fix their site. No reply.

Customer service was horrible! Barely got back to me. Then claimed I hadn't paid yet until I proved otherwise. Took over a month get my hats. Zero help from anyone very poor experience. I would recommend anyone to stay far from lids

I would give them 0 star. I order a jersey online for my son. Size Youth Size M, they send me Infant Size M. I don't let me exchange.

You cannot phone these people you only have an option to do it off their website very quick at dismiss. I ordered something on March 12 and have heard absolutely nothing from them and when I do contact them on their website keep telling me I have the wrong number then another time they told me well no that’s a different division. Ask for a refund haven’t seen that haven’t seen the hats that I ordered nothing at all at this point. I’d be happy if they fall me up and called me a name, but I’m not holding my breath for that either this is the problem with online shopping and what you think is a reputable company.

Très mauvaise expérience chez Lids. Le commis était appuyé sur le comptoir en train de discuter avec un client qui n’achetait rien, au lieu de s’occuper des autres clients. Ensuite, j’ai acheté deux casquettes mal étiquetées : affichées à 49,99 $, mais passées à 69,99 $ à la caisse. On m’a donc chargé 20 $ de plus par article, malgré la politique de prix affiché qui devrait être respectée. Pour la broderie, on m’avait annoncé 17 $ par casquette. Finalement, j’ai été facturé 20 $ de plus par casquette pour une broderie déjà existante. On m’a expliqué que c’était parce que c’étaient des modèles “démo”, alors qu’elles étaient simplement au fond d’un rack sans aucune indication. Quand je suis retourné voir le commis pour poser des questions sur la facturation, j’avais clairement l’impression de le déranger. Service peu professionnel, manque de transparence et erreurs de prix inacceptables. Sur la facture : 2x 17$ de broderie personalisé + 2x 49.99$ par casquette + 2x 20$ broderie déja existente sur les casquettes Total : 200,48$ pour 2 casquettes De plus broder sur les étiquettes a l'interieur ce qui cause des plis et il est même aller jusqu'à couper les étiquettes ! Pour le prix qu'on paye il se permet de mal installer les casquettes pour broder et coupe un produit vendu et déja payé !

Dear lids, your quality is great but when I ordered online I received kids hats but not adult hats that I ordered, the fact that it didn’t have options for sizes for kids and adults was not fair to me and the fact that you asked for my reviews right after purchasing the items so I made a good review when I was going to receive hats that aren’t my size, I even ordered two so I wasted money on expensive kids hats for no reason thank you very much

Do not order from Lids.ca. The item I paid for never got delivered to me,it got delivered to someone else. I will never buy anything from this company again. Terrible service Red Deer Alberta

Lids location Yorkdale mall, Toronto Ontario. November 27, 2025. I Dropped by to pick up my order of 10 Hats. I walked into the store before it opened not realizing they hadn’t opened yet. A very simple misunderstanding. I experienced a level of disrespect and anger that I have never seen before. Not by the gentleman who sold me the hats, but by another employee. It was disrespectful enough that I will never return to this location, or any other lids location for that matter. The look of discomfort and embarrassment the face of the sales guy who served me told me all I needed to know about the toxic environment! an environment I want nothing to do with going forward.

Absolutely horrible customer service. They do not shipping deadlines and the customer service department is completely useless. I cannot stress enough to avoid lids.ca

On sept 9 I placed an order Paid 34.99 for next day delivery ( next business day) On Sept 11 called in to verify delivery Response: next business day referes to when the warehouse is completed and ships it So I questioned the lady - there is nothing on your website that states this and that this is false - I order from Zara before 1pm I get it same day or it’s a refund - and lids refuses to accept Fault - I asked for a manager she said she will have a manager call me - and this has not happened - I would like my next day delivery refund

Garbage customer service, all reps were of no help, listings lied on the site. Reps take forever to respond in live chat, which defeats the purpose. They are all clearly located in India with the way they were speaking. Don't even think of trying to get a refund, they will not allow it. Never shopping here or at their stores again.

Terrible experience. One of the hats received was defective tried to return to the store and they said i needed to return via mail because i had purchased online. So i tried to get the return form however the site did not work ( yes i have adobe), so i sent via mail with tracking. They took 3 weeks yo issue a refund and then charged me another $14 for return shipping even though I paid for the return shipping separately. Terrible. I will never purchase from them again.

Went to the store on 8th st in Saskatoon where the girl working was super annoyed she had to get off her phone as she was in the middle of a personal call, my disabled husband pointed to a hat with his cane he’d like to try on and she scolded him for trying to reach a hat. Super unprofessional and was herself wearing a hat backwards, chewing gum like a cow. If I could give a negative star I would.

I ordered 2 hats on Feb 17…it’s now mar 17 and i still don’t have my package delivered…email said it was sent from Salt Lake City to be delivered to Vancouver,Canada….what are they walking it over…been a month…never will I order from them again and recommend you don’t either

I had to wait a month to get my refund, had to call 5-6 times to finally get it. I was getting the same answer each time. I put one star on this review only because there's no minus stars. Worst customer service ever, I strongly recommand you to buy stuff elsewhere.

This BS message "We wanted to let you know that we are working as quickly as we can to ship your order. We know how excited you are to receive your Fan gear and we don’t like to disappoint our Fans! We are sorry for this fulfillment delay and are working to get you an update" and the total lack of customer service is why I'll be shopping at Dicks Sporting Goods in the future.

First time order, last time I will ever order. Absolutely zero customer service, only bots and automated telephone. I tried every avenue. And I can’t cancel an order that hasn’t even been shipped. Truly enraged by the lack of service. Do NOT order from this company.

Kids Canada charged $40 for next day delivery before I confirmed the order. Once I confirmed I received email for Jan 10 delivery and they will not refund or help with my order. There is no customer service to help out and I lost my money. They won't refund
