“Fantastic service from John. Was concerned due to a health condition that getting Mortgage Protection would be tricky but he got me a great rate and knew exactly who to talk to. Would highly recommend.”

“I’m genuinely delighted with the service I received from Richie and the team. The entire process was smooth, professional, and clearly focused on my best interest. I especially appreciated how they shopped around anonymously to get me the best deal possible without affecting my chances. The only downside was the slightly high premium, but I understand the reasoning behind it and truly hope this can be reviewed over a short time. Overall, I felt well taken care of and supported throughout — a great experience.”

“I cannot recommend Lion enough. I was worried about getting insurance due to my high BMI but they took me through everything explained the best choices and arranged cover. They kept me informed through the whole thing and having the same point of contact from start to finish really made it a personal and tailored experience. I would have no issue at all recommending them to anyone.”

“Highly recommend John at Lion.ie, -multiple insurance companies rejected to insure me and on my first application with him he made it happen. Beyond grateful as we were almost having to pull out of buying our house as I couldn’t get protection. Explained everything clearly and was always quick with responses etc.”

“I am totally satisfied with Lion.ie as they are transparent and keep their promises. John Hourigan took care of my insurance application: he was very thorough and responsive. Because we were over 50 and had some health issues, we were also working with the bank insurance broker to compare quotes or even request a waiver if denied. Through the process I could see the lack of responsiveness from the bank’s broker side, so I eventually went with Royal London quote offered by Lion.ie even if it was a few € more expensive because it had a better overall customer service and the conditions to change the policy from smoker to non smoker were transparent and clarified by Lion, so we can save some money in the future. Thanks John and Lion for your support!”

“I was a bit lost and worried about purchasing mortgage protection insurance, when I noticed many positive comments about applying through lion.ie, which encouraged me to contact this fantastic family-owned business. The amazing people behind the team have their heart on helping individuals like I am - a first time buyer, with no experience, lost in the maze of mortgage application. I talked to John, who was very professional and extremely helpful. He guided me through the process already during my initial call and together we filled out the application. He already gave me positive news at the end of the call, that my application for mortgage protection was approved. With minimal paperwork involved, my insurance policy schedule arrived already in the same afternoon and I did not have to worry any more about applying too late and losing my future home. I can and will definitely highly recommend lion.ie to all those who are in the process of purchasing property. I cannot describe with words how grateful I am for their kind, prompt and professional assistance.”

“Some brokers give you an overview of the product and speak technical terms to you which you pretend to understand, but don't!! John didn't! He was very patient and explained everything to me in simple terms that i could understant. He also told me about inheritance tax which other brokers didn't. He went through different scenarios and was always available for any questions I had. Would highly recommend Lion.”
