“I'm very impressed with the wide range of stock you supply, which will enable me to get everything I need without too much shopping around. However, I was disappointed I couldn't add to my large first order without incurring a delivery charge - some human intervention would've been welcome.”

Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback. You can add to your order as long as we haven't picked and packed your order already. Orders placed before 12 we aim to despatch the same day - therefore they can be super quick in the warehouse! Best regards, Lion.

“click and collect / on line ordering easy and order packed & ready for collection when it said. However, we had to wait ages for someone to come and serve us. We used the red phone twice and waited, in the end a very kind cleaner took pity on us and went to find someone to serve us. Fortunately, we weren't in a hurry!”

“Not impressed.I had asked for my framing to be delivered on Feb 11,as there would b someone in.It arrived yesterday and was left outside my door in the pouring rain as there was nobody in,this is wood for God’s sake! The framing is good but my moulding arrived damaged last time(no reply to that e mail),and now this.”

“Excellent service and very quick delivery but: Very high delivery charges for small items which could be sent by post Very high minimum order charge £50 before VAT and carriage is a lot for small organisations such as clubs who only need a few spares Unusual items not indexed on your web site, customer has to know the part number which is a bit of a problem”

“Excellent product range, everything you can think of, and some you can't. Great service, the only let down is the minimum order quantities and cost with regard to shipping but this only bites if you are not ordering business quantities. I will be returning for more.”

“Frames all good, some are a bit on cheap side, so we buy more expensive ones now. The reason I gave 4* is DX delivery messed us around and seem chaotic! Arrived, couldn't leave in a safe place, then office said they were allowed to leave delivery outside. So missed Friday delivery by 20 minutes... called them Monday, said they could leave it now if I was out and arriving between 4-5pm..put phone down and delivery man outside at 10am? Perhaps use DPD?”

“Delivery from placing order is excellent. The main Supplies Catalogue is a bible which I diligently mark with items ordered (and in use) over the years. The current website exhibits some failings (run time errors) and the numbering system brings up some odd bedfellows when a part number search is used. The biggest let-down is the introduction of price changes (historically usually up, though not always) and increased delivery charges from 2 January 2019, when the new catalogue and its prices will not apparently be ready for a couple of months. This encourages using alternative suppliers.”

“A few pieces of the longer lengths of black ash moulding had to be re supplied as they were warped even though a request for the moulding to be checked for straightness had been put on my order. My framed prints require exact looking frames as they are mounted in off white with black slips and require precise frames. Saying that the service for this was efficient.”

“Moulding were good, though the black lacquer flakes off when cut, so care needed. My only complaint would be the need to order £50 worth of materials. That’s fine for free delivery, but if charging that’s not on. My second order for £20 was through Amazon, which was a shame”
