“We live in the Lake District and are out in the elements with our little ones all the time. We are not short of outdoor shops up here, but we buy a reasonable amount of kit for them from Little Adventure because they choose a good range of products which are tried and tested. When I've needed help or more information on products the staff have been really helpful, and I like the notes I get with the deliveries, makes it feel personal.”

“I bought a little buffalo jacket for my granddaughter. I realise it,s a website but the service was like that of a friendly corner shop.They were the only site to have her size. I will definitely use them again. Handwritten note too....impressed.”

“My daughter is size 5 1/2. I read the advise on the website that Sorel boots tend to come up small and to order one size larger so I ordered size 6. They are huge and I can even get my feet into them and I'm a size 7. Unfortunately they have to be returned at your own cost, which is over £8 for the cheapest method. Would not buy from here again as the risk that you have to return the goods, especially as you have already paid a delivery charge. I've now ordered another pair from another website which has free returns.”

“This is the best company that I have come across for children's winter clothes. I have used them for 2 years now and got some complete bargains on top quality brands. The last thing you want is for your kids to be cold and miserable because you bought them boots and gloves which were poor quality tat and not waterproof. Their customer service is excellent, I can't think when I have dealt with such friendly helpful people. They helped me find the correct size of Hestra wrist bands for my daughter's gloves and even saved my money on the postage. Highly recommended.”

“We stumbled across the little adventure shop while trying to find some gloves for our 2 year old's first skiing trip. There is a great selection of all sorts of adventure clothing and our purchase was delivered very quickly. I will definitely use them again.”

“I was delighted to receive an email alerting me to the reductions in price for the kids icebreaker tops. I managed to get 4 tops. Excellent value and great design. Would have been reluctant to pay full price so v delighted to pick up a bargain. Speedy delivery using Royal Mail. Thank you!”
