Hi Chloe Thank you for your honest review, we value feedback from customers good and bad and aim to ensure everyone finds a hay their pet enjoys. As discussed on the phone, each bale is weighed on our baling machine, it would be great to make sure you have received the right size bale so if you could send a photo through to us at info@littlehayco.com we can verify that with you. We would also like to verify the quality so if you can drop us an email we would be more than happy to review this and get you an alternative hay sent out.

“My rabbits absolutely adore Cotswold sweet hay. I mix it with 2 other different types of hay and they pick out all the cotwold sweet, there's never any left each day because it's so delicious. My bunnies eyes are shining with delight while they are eating it!!! Plus the customer service is fantastic- I emailed with a query about my subscription and got a very quick reply resolving it.”

“Amazing service - 2nd order and the quality of the hay was perfect and fussy rabbit is loving it, after changing from another boxed hay company ! The Carob treats are a firm favourite. Then when we had little blip with delivery, very quickly and helpfully sorted !”

“Excellent hay. I buy a variety when I order so that my piggie has a good choice which he loves especially the Cotswold sweet. I love also that the hay is dust extracted as my furboy has a mild respiratory problem which has reduced his coughing and sneezing to a bare minimum. Price and delivery are excellent too!”

“The hay always seems fresh and isn’t dusty. My rabbit is extremely fussy so I’ve tried loads of hays. He will nibble a few of them especially Cotswold sweet and Timothy, but still picky. It’s a him issue rather than a hay issue. He loves the tunnel I got him. My guinea pig loves the silky soft hay and the Timothy. Products always arrive quickly.”

“It was great to try the hay samples pack to see what the different options were like first before committing to a large pack. The delivery by DPD was good too. I did a taste test for my guineapigs using the samples to see which they preferred. My dominant boar loved the crau but sadly he has the beginnings of bladder issues so I ruled out that higher calcium option. Next they hoovered up the Timothy hay samples followed by the orchard and then the meadow. Decided on pure Timothy hay in the end as calcium content not too bad and they both loved that one. Will be good for their teeth and fibre intake too.”

“I have been buying hay from The Little Hay company for a few months now. I have tried 3 different types of hay and every bag is fresh, dry, dust free and smells lovely. I would recommend the Little Hay company for it's efficiency and great service :)”
