Used this company a few times. Cotswold swett is usually really good & my bunnies love it. This batch however was awful. Really short strands just fall through the hayrack & get all over the floor making such a mess. It's so short I struggle to pull handfuls out. Most of it just falls into the litter tray & gets wasted. Expensive hay for just lining the top of a litter tray. Very disappointed 😞 Tried to upload a pic for proof but it won't let me.

Basically straw- yellow, and my two rabbits refuse to eat it when they love Timothy Hay. Photos online and packaging claim that the Timothy Hay is green, but clearly not. Normally I purchase from HayBox which is consistently green and fresh and I wanted to compare with Little Hay. Very disappointed

Generally good but at the end of the season (spring) the rabbits won’t eat it as it’s very dry and short.

Unfortunately the hay hasn't suited my rabbit at all and has made him ill so I have discontinued using it.

Ordered numerous times before and always been happy with the hay, this time though it wasn’t the usual standard, rabbits will not eat it , it looks like straw , dull in colour. I emailed over a week ago and no reply, have a whole bag going to waste and had to buy from another company to get my rabbits to eat again. Sadly it’s put me off ordering again.

Hi Laura We are terribly sorry we missed your email, it definitely wasn't intentional but sometimes things do get missed. We would love to make this right for you - we had dropped you an email and hope we can come to a happy resolution. Kind Regards Maisie

I wasn't expecting such a small bale for the price I paid and I wouldn't say the quality was very good either. I purchased meadow hay and feel I over paid.

Hi Chloe Thank you for your honest review, we value feedback from customers good and bad and aim to ensure everyone finds a hay their pet enjoys. As discussed on the phone, each bale is weighed on our baling machine, it would be great to make sure you have received the right size bale so if you could send a photo through to us at info@littlehayco.com we can verify that with you. We would also like to verify the quality so if you can drop us an email we would be more than happy to review this and get you an alternative hay sent out.

Cotswold has quite a bit of brown leaf in it so bunnies leave more. The alfalfa is nice and green but breaks up very easily leaving so much powder in the box. I dry my own Lucerne in the summer months in net bags and stems stay intact.

The Hay doesn’t seem very good quality. It’s mostly all brown. Rabbits don’t seem to like it either, delivery was quick but I will not be ordering again.

Hi Katie Sorry to hear you were not happy with the hay quality. It definitely isn't the feedback we are used to. Can we send you out a free sample box, i have a feeling you got a bad batch and we can convince you our hay is good quality! Kind Regards Maisie

Sorry to hear your pets found our Timothy Hay to be too coarse, the roughness of the hay is what makes it great for dental wear and digestive health. If your pets prefer a softer cut of hay we would recommend trying Cotswold Sweet. If your pets would like to try and sample of our Cotswold Sweet or Silky Soft Hay for free please email us with your order number and we will gladly arrange this for you to try and rectify the situation.

The Hay was delivered very well, I ordered 10kg Eco Box with Timothy Hay for 7 Guinea pigs, and it was very hard felt more like straw, more yellow than green and none of them touched it. was nothing like what they are used to I order Timothy Hay from another company and its soft very green never any wastage.

Hi Zachary Thank you for your honest feedback on the timothy hay. We find here at Little hay co that our resident guinea pigs also find the timothy too coarse however they both love the silky soft hay (which is a soft cut timothy hay with fescue and rye grass) as well as our cotswold sweet hay. We would love a chance to help you find a hay your guinea pigs love from little hay co. If you could drop us an email with your address we can get a sample of the two hays sent out to see if we can find something that fits your piggies. Thanks Maisie
