“Just need to let you know this -- not trying to ruin your business but I know I know you don't publish negative reviews anyway. Please read this to improve your products.
In the last year, I bought 3 prs of slippahs from you + delivery comes to about $150 CDN. BTW, I somehow thought your business was 'local' to HI -- smooth mktg.
Problem is inconsistency in sizing, fit, comfort, quality across styles.
1. Locals original: super comfy, perfect fit. Absorbs sweat, retains odor quite quckly, even tho I don't have sweaty feet. Died within 6 mos of only indoor wear. The soles really flattened and the strap split.
2. Red aloha pattern: Sizing and fit are fine and I like the less absorbent, smooth sole but hard as cardboard.
3. Reggae slippah: pretty, comfy sole, feels more durable than original and less absorbent...BUT fits too small.
I also think your delivery cost is too much to come from LA to Vancouver, CA. Especially when you think these are $10 slippahs at the shop.
I have had a pr of Surfah slippahs, not wearing all the time and flattened some, but still comfortable and wearable after 20 yrs.”
