“This is my tenth year making an anniversary book for my husband. I review all the exciting events in our lives the past year and make him this book. Though each year it gets more expensive. When I first started it was $49 now $75 all in. It is worth it to keep the tradition alive. I love how I can make new characters to represent family and friends. Scenes are adorable (still waiting for more American holiday representation and a birthday theme with friends at a table scene) but I love the updates so far. I would love to see a mobile app for ease of creation since I do this on my phone as and it takes 1-3hrs. A lot of it is the capability moving screens and freezing on the phone. This update would be great for mobile friendly users. Hope it’s live next year when I create the eleventh book.”

A hardcover book in 2017 was $49.95 and is currently $65.90, which reflects the increased cost of materials and production. Unfortunately shipping costs have even more dramatically increased and sales tax laws within the USA changed, both of which have undeniably affected the total cost of a purchase. While we do not expect to release a mobile app, we are continuing to improve our website's functionality and reliability so that editing a LoveBook in a mobile browser is as easy as possible. If you have any specific feedback you'd like to share with our engineers about the difficulties you encountered, please feel to reach out to us via email as we love to hear from our customers and it helps us with future updates.

“I really enjoy that you can edit so many things on each page. Especially the scene. I do think that more item choices for the scenery would be nice. Most of them are on black and white too. Other than that I was pretty satisfied with everything!”

“I really liked this, but my book had about 8 pages added at the end of repeating pages I did not make. Its easy to just ignore them, but for the price I feel it should be better quality controlled.”

“I couldn't figure out how to move the pages in the order I wanted, so the so the dedication page ended up in an odd spot. Other than that I love the book. It is of a better quality than I expected and is very cute.”

“I initially found it difficult to use the site. It took time to figure out how to edit the pages and the text. It would be helpful to have a link that explains how to edit and not make it trial and error.”

“The book was pretty straightforward to build using the user friendly interface with loads of options for designing your characters. I struggled using my phone to make it because I have sausage fingers. I switched to a Web page. You don't need to complete it all at once. It saves your progress, if you don't have the time you can pick it up when you do. You can work on multiple books at once choosing from different themes. There's options to change the clothing, age, race, face, (including different expressions) eye colour, hair colour, clothing style and colours. Although I didn't notice any option for vitiligo. There's plenty of styles of clothing to choose from. The templates give you a good starting point for each scene but you need an idea of what content you want to include or your just going to end up with a book of "I love the way you drink water" "I love the way you eat food" There's a variety of backgrounds to choose from, you can adjust the size and position of your characters and layer thousands of objects. Although, they're not all coloured and may seem a little out of place. I think the price for the digital copy is a little steep, the print isn't cheap either but the construction tools are well thought out and would have taken some R n D. I didn't have time for a print to be shipped (no idea what the quality is like for a hardcopy) so ordered a digital copy and had it printed elsewhere. The images are clear and we're ordered so it was easy to have issued from a third party. The digital copy arrived within minutes of payment without any issues. It was well received and something I'd consider doing again in the future.”

“The book is amazing. I really enjoyed putting it together, and my girlfriend really loved it when she saw it. She kept reading it over and over. There are a few things that you should know about before you order. Number one the book is smaller than I expected. I thought I was going to get an 8 1/2 x 10 but it was much smaller. Also, I took my time when setting up what was supposed to happen in the story, I even went back and edited it once I did a review at the end and there was no way for me to change it so basically I was stuck with something that I didn’t really want at the end. There were a few pages that didn’t match and the only way I could fix those was by paying an extra $10 and waiting and missing Valentine’s Day, which wasn’t worth it so I had to accept a product that wasn’t perfect just because there’s an error in their software. I text a customer service representative about it and they got a little defensive, so I left it alone. It’s a great gift and it’s funny but keep in mind. It may not be what you want. Try it out for yourself.”

“The book is cute but expensive for a small thin book when compared to other brands. The book I got was 40 pages, not hardcover. It came in a thin envelope via mail, and delivery was also confusing. The ads showed a box, making the book look fuller.”

“I created this book for my husband for Valentine's Day. It so happened that this year, we were celebrating much more than just love, we were also revealing the gender of our first child. “It was a hit! Don't often see my boyfriend blush but this definitely made him feel all the love. For such a quick questionnaire it definitely made this feel very personalized.
