“I loved the idea and the quality of the book. However, the book was slightly folded when I received it, hence ruined to be perfect. I never received a beautiful red bag you generally see in the video to gift the book. I just got the book in a thin cardboard box which was also slightly disappointing.”

“I will say that my husband loved his birthday love book! However the totally disappointing part was that they had promised delivery prior to his birthday which I paid a high price for and it was 3 days late. I sent an email regarding this and it was never responded to.”

“I love the idea, but the product you're going to receive is going to be very underwhelming considering the minimum price of one of these creations is going to be €50 or more.....plus the shipping fee. All in all, I'm glad I explored what the company has to offer, as it was a really fun experience in and of itself just to sit at the computer and create this book together with my son. There are some frustrating parts, such as: the pre-set book templates are going to generate a book that is not possible to print. You need 40 pages to bind and print. Meaning that you need to add about 20 extra pages that you create on your own and the page templates become very repetitive by the time you get to 40 pages. Then you will need to constantly re-order the pages to make the "stroyline" make sense as you add all those extra pages. If you can make the most of the process and enjoy it until you get to the end.....you will realise that even when you have one of their many many promo codes, the book is still going to cost you €50-60 or more, but you're really into it by then. You order and then you receive the book, and it's a tiny little A5 book made of flimsy thin glossy pages. If you want premium paper you need to upgrade and upgrade, etc etc. And it baffles the mind when you've already spent so much money on this tiny little underwhelming book. Just make the price higher and deliver a premium quality product. Now I'm curious if I had purchased the upgraded paper, etc, would I have been happier with the product or still underwhelmed. I wanted to love it and I wanted to ordered another one for every member of the family....but having received my first one, I am not hoenstly that inspired to keep ordering more from this company. And it's a shame because I bought the membership thinking it would be the only way to justify the high price, is if I would get subsequent discounts on future books. Meh, I was feeling inspired and then I got the book and I'm not feeling so inspired anymore. On the plus side, the shipping notifications were excellent and the package was received about a week before it was expected, so that could have made this all an amazing experience if only the book didn't look so meh in person.”

“I have since been informed by customer service that I will recieve my order on December 18th. I will update my review to reflect this once I receive my order. Customer service was nice but didn't offer much in the way of restitution if I didn't receive my order other than "It is out of our control" While I understand you cannot control delivery - it isn't my fault as I am the paying customer that was promised it would be delivered by Christmas. I am hopeful it will be here in plenty of time.”

“I was really crazy excited to get this book.. however upon receiving what I paid a good chunk of change for, I found the spine of the book to be bent due to it not being packaged properly, it literally had someone's dirty fingerprints on it that I had to lysol off, one.of which is locked in the matte finish and the pages are insanely thin. Overall, it's cute and I appreciated the creative points it gave but the quality isn't there whatsoever. Honestly I know now more than ever I'll only ever use shutterfly for things like this.”

“Shipping was delayed 3-4 days later than when originally purchased book. Was a gift. Book and overall quality was good, but shipping estimates did not fulfill my needs in a timely manner.”

“This truly is a fantastic product! Very cute well made books that allow you to customize them for every occasion. The product is solid and worth the money but the customer service communication has been hit or miss. On a recent order there was an unplanned delay and not much information was communicated. They did refund my shipping, which I appreciated, but I would have really appreciated more communication in advance. I would recommend this product 100% but would recommend ordering far in advance so you are not affected by any unplanned delays.”

“Let me start my review by saying that I got the idea from my sister who got a love book for her boyfriend (now husband). She showed me their book and it was super cute. It was about the size of a year book, with glossy pages, and the pictures were very detailed. Overall really impressed she was able to make such a cute book from scratch, so I decided to make one for my husband for our anniversary. While I really loved the avatars, and all the little details I was able to put in the book- I was extremely disappointed in the size. My book was not the same size as my sisters, mine was significantly smaller- about the size of a children’s picture book, and the pages were not glossy like hers, they were matte and printed on very thin paper. While the book itself was really nice, and had all the cute details I added to it, the size and the pages weren’t glossy were a deal breaker and that’s why I’m giving it 3 stars. I went back to try and see if there were different sizes and maybe it was my fault along with the matte pages, but I couldn’t find anything on sizing or pages. My husband loved it when the day came and he received the book, but deep inside I was not happy with how it came out. I was expecting a bigger book with better pages for the steep price I paid for it. I’m sorry, but I was really disappointed. I won’t be ordering in the future.”

“One criticism. I have dyslexia, so these items should be proof read and adjusted for spelling mistakes. This would avoid embarrassment and help customers.”

“The book was pretty phenomenal unfortunately your shipping time did not meet the standards you said they would meet. I paid extra to have it delivered two days before Valentine's Day unfortunately it arrived midday on Valentine's day. They did refund my expedited shipping cost but that's not the point”

“Very unique and creative gift. Lots of customization available. While it's not hard to learn, it would be nice to have more of a tutorial on how to edit page elements, expressions, gestures, clothing on each page. I didn't notice this at first. Not a fan of some of the clipart, but I mostly like the quirky style. Definitely keep adding more categories.”

“I love the ability to make the book how you like it. Updates during the process were appreciated. My only complaint was the book was doubled. My pages were in order and just as I wanted them but after you flip through them, they repeat all over again.”

“LOVED the sweetness of the book altogether. Such a beautiful and personal gift. HOWEVER the choices of personalization are not that great, none of them applied to me. Also the binding was off on my book. My husband loved it and I think overall it's a great gift.”
