“Let me start my review by saying that I got the idea from my sister who got a love book for her boyfriend (now husband). She showed me their book and it was super cute. It was about the size of a year book, with glossy pages, and the pictures were very detailed. Overall really impressed she was able to make such a cute book from scratch, so I decided to make one for my husband for our anniversary. While I really loved the avatars, and all the little details I was able to put in the book- I was extremely disappointed in the size. My book was not the same size as my sisters, mine was significantly smaller- about the size of a children’s picture book, and the pages were not glossy like hers, they were matte and printed on very thin paper. While the book itself was really nice, and had all the cute details I added to it, the size and the pages weren’t glossy were a deal breaker and that’s why I’m giving it 3 stars. I went back to try and see if there were different sizes and maybe it was my fault along with the matte pages, but I couldn’t find anything on sizing or pages. My husband loved it when the day came and he received the book, but deep inside I was not happy with how it came out. I was expecting a bigger book with better pages for the steep price I paid for it. I’m sorry, but I was really disappointed. I won’t be ordering in the future.”

“One criticism. I have dyslexia, so these items should be proof read and adjusted for spelling mistakes. This would avoid embarrassment and help customers.”

“The book was pretty phenomenal unfortunately your shipping time did not meet the standards you said they would meet. I paid extra to have it delivered two days before Valentine's Day unfortunately it arrived midday on Valentine's day. They did refund my expedited shipping cost but that's not the point”

“Very unique and creative gift. Lots of customization available. While it's not hard to learn, it would be nice to have more of a tutorial on how to edit page elements, expressions, gestures, clothing on each page. I didn't notice this at first. Not a fan of some of the clipart, but I mostly like the quirky style. Definitely keep adding more categories.”

“I love the ability to make the book how you like it. Updates during the process were appreciated. My only complaint was the book was doubled. My pages were in order and just as I wanted them but after you flip through them, they repeat all over again.”

“LOVED the sweetness of the book altogether. Such a beautiful and personal gift. HOWEVER the choices of personalization are not that great, none of them applied to me. Also the binding was off on my book. My husband loved it and I think overall it's a great gift.”

“The book was amazing. However, the shipping was poor. I realize that you can't control that, but your delivery estimate was Feb 12, which gave me 2 extra days. So I thought for sure it would arrive by Valentine's Day. I didn't receive it until the 18th. I would not have ordered it had I known it would be 4 days late.”

“I have to give it a three just based off of how the item came. For paying as much as we do I’m surprised they don’t come better packaged to avoid water damage. Thankfully they were able to replace the book at no cost but not sure it’ll show up on time.”

“Love everything except size is a little small, binding a little tight, and that it’s only printed one sided. Not the most ideal format for reading curled up in bed with the little one. But not a deal breaker! Characters and customization is far superior than other “build your own” books that I’ve seen.”

“Book was fine...it was just delivered a day later than I paid for. Therefore I could not have it within the time frame before being out of town for Christmas. Just now got to give it as a gift, surprise ruined.”

“I already sent you a review. The book presents very nicely but I was extremely disappointed the “pet names” for my husband, that I had included in the draft, were omitted and simply replaced by my husband’s name. I was not aware that would happen. That exclusion made the book much less personal.”

“I purchased the hardback version with 20+ pages. The cover photo is slightly off (with the image bleeding over the edge), so the character is semi-missing a hand. Hopefully I can update this rating in 1 month, due to it being a gift and I don't want to puncture the plastic seal. A little disappointed on this first visual, but I love this idea and hoping for the best!!! :)”
