I placed an order with Love Lights for the first time 13 days ago. Firstly I was able to order an item that was out of stock! This shouldn't have happened or it should have been clearer on their website that the item was not available. I waited to hear about delivery of my bathroom lights for 7 days but there was no news, so I decided to call them. It took about 3 days of back and forth to establish that they would not be able to supply the ordered lights at all as their supplier did not have them in stock either. I therefore asked for a refund. That was about 34 hrs ago. I am still waiting for a reply. In summary, poor customer service, very long lead times and no sense of urgency whatsoever. Not happy!

No response as to when lights will arrive yet payment taken. Phone just rings and rings which is incredibly unprofessional. This is not a business that i will use again. Do not order if you want professional service.

Hi Henry, Apolgies that you were not able to contact us by telephone, unfortunately our sales team are working from home and we are trying to reply to all calls as quickly as possible. Very poor delivery, took over two weeks - if the item was not in stock this should have been clearly stated before accepting my order.

4 weeks later some badly packaged lights turn up. This was after emailing and calling numerous times and not getting a reply. I actually started the process of trying to get a refund when the lights turned up.

It took nearly two weeks from order to delivery, when you can get same day delivery with Amazon they need to ip their game.

Hi Stuart, Apologies that your order took a little longer that the 7 days to arrive by a couple of days, as mentioned online at checkout these dates may vary due to the impact of COVID-19 on our manufacturers workforce and also our own, if this was not noticed at checkout then please accept our apologies for this.

Short lived! Put the new bulbs in & 2 days Later one flickered & then died completely. On thins experience I would not purchase again from ‘love lights’. Not impressed.

Hi Gemma, We are sorry to hear that one the lamps has failed, unfortunately you have not made us aware of this issue and are unable to help resolve if we are not notified either by email or a telephone call. If you would like to either drop us an email or give us a call on the number 01642 424844 we would be happy to speak with the manufacturer of the bulb regarding a replacement as these will be covered under warranty. Ordered a light cable. Took 2 weeks to get a dispatch email. Still not received the cable! Very poor.

Hello, We are sorry you have not yet received your order, this was dispatched within the 2-7 working day period as per the information on our website with Royal mail and we have offered to send a replacement out for you as discussed on the 25th September as per a telephone call when we were made aware of this. Once again we are sorry your item has not yet been received however we are rectifying this issue and having this resent for you.

Although I had problems with receiving the lamp I ordered in December2019(finally delivered in June2020) plus a refund I was delighted with the goods.

Sorry to hear you haven’t received your item, this was posted with Royal Mail when we reopened on the 3rd January 2019. Absolutely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with in any industry. Waited months and months for lights to be delivered and when they did half missing. No apologies or offers of any compensation of any kind. I would never recommend this company to anyone in fact I’d actively campaign against it. Completely disgusting service, no customer care at all.

items never turned up . seller had poor communication told time and time again items were coming into stock .never did were in stock when bought. had to wait nearly over a month for items to come over 10 days for refund seller should not sell what it does not have .

Buyers beware. This company sells you something that doesn’t exist ... takes your money ....then doesn’t refund you. I ordered a lamp shade made by Dar which was on Lovelights website. No contact from Lovelights when I didn’t receive the item. Contacted them....not an easy task. Lovelights informed me the lampshade is no longer made. I confirmed this with a phone call to Dar Lighting. Lovelights still hold my money. They say it’s not their fault it was on their website!!! I don’t know who’s fault that is then. Have now opened up a PayPal resolution, and Lovelights don’t know how to deal with this. According to PayPal they just need to refund the money they took for goods not supplied!! Not a difficult task.....but it seems to be impossible for this company.

Hi, Thank you for your review and apologies that the shade you ordered was a discounted item, the manufacturer had not made us aware of this and therefore the shade was left on the website, which we have apologised for on numerous occasions over the telephone. Ordered light fitting 5 weeks ago. They took the money immediately. Have had no contact other than the order confirmation. When I phoned them they said they'd sent an email saying it was out of stock, which I didn't receive. Weeks on, still haven't heard anything and it's past the date they said it would be sent. Now they are not answering the phone.
