“Very happy with fake tan and deodorant. However, I tried to send back the reusable pads after they shrank in the wash (despite washing as per instructions) and was told they were still usable. Disappointed with customer service hence the lower stars.”

“I ordered the natural deodorant because I was getting a bit of a rash under my arms from my current deodorant. I absolutely love the Lucy Bee one. It’s stopped the rash and smells lovely and fresh. BUT I wouldn’t rely on it if you’re a particularly sweaty person or you’re going to do a really sweaty workout and not going to shower straight after. It also does leave white marks on your clothes (these do wash out so not like normal yellow stains you get from ‘normal’ deodorants), so be careful wearing black. But definitely try it if you want to do better by the environment and put natural products on your skin.”

Hi Sophie, thank you for your feedback. It's great to hear that you are enjoying the fresh scent of our deodorant, and that your rash has gone from your underarms - this is fantastic. Sorry that you haven't got on with the deodorant whilst working out. This could be your body getting used to using a natural deodorant, also known as a transition period. Anti-perspirants use aluminium-based compounds to temporarily block pores to stop you sweating, whereas a deodorant allows your body to sweat and should cover any odour. Our deodorant uses micro silver, an antibacterial, as well as sodium bicarbonate to help combat odour. Our deodorant is best used on freshly washed, dry armpits. Sorry to also hear that you are getting a mark on your clothes, you please only need to apply a thin layer of our deodorant, this should stop the marks. “I am a 50 Asian woman with naturally oily skin and use no makeup. I used the cleanser and moisturiser for a couple of weeks but found the products too heavy for my skin type. It made my skin too oily. I no longer use the cleanser. I use the moisturiser a couple of times a week but as part of my night routine. The toner is very good and I use it in the morning and evening”

“Sadly disappointed in this product :( Love the thickness of it but I’m not sure what’s missing ? it absorbed very quickly, I was unable to massage it around my face for long to feel Clean and not great for removing eye makeup. for me I’ll stick to your soap.”

“I love what the company stand for, I had the whole Lucy bee skin care range which was out a few years ago and it was amazing. I have used the face moisturiser this week and my skin feels awful. Bit gutted.”

“I got got the radiance cream and exfoliate soap as a birthday present. Love the soap, it foams up brilliantly. I was looking forward to using the radiance cream, whilst it may be unscented it does have quite an antiseptic smell which I find strong and it takes some of the enjoyment of using it and it does put me off.”

We have not added any fragrance to the product because we know how sensitive some skin can be. “The actual products are lovely, however I ordered the sample cleanser and moisturiser and considering your paying for samples i would have thought they would give more than one use! Also ordered the coconut soap dish and it’s not worth the money at all! Just a hollowed coconut cut in three and you have to assemble yourself - and it doesn’t even fit together very well! Soap and bath salts are great just disappointed with the extras I brought.”

Thank you for your feedback and it's great to hear that you're happy with our products. Our 3ml sample sachets of Face Cream and Cleanser should provide enough product for 2 uses each, with some people getting more than this out of them and we're sorry to hear that you only were able to get one use. Similarly, we're sorry to hear your comments about our Coconut Shell Soap Dish. This is, as you've mentioned, an actual coconut shell and is cut into 3 to hold our soap bars and catch any drips. We have an image on the product page showing how to place the 3 pieces and we offer this product as a novel and natural way to hold our natural soap bars which are made using our coconut oil. “Day one of using the cleanser toner and moisturiser my face felt beautifully soft but after day 3 I started to get spots that I don't normally have! I would normally only use a face wash and then a vitamin E night oil so maybe it was too much product for my skin? I have past the toner onto my friend who suffers with acne prone skin so hopefully she will love it”

Although the products are all dermatologically approved for sensitive skin and we’ve had amazing feedback from customers with very oily skin through to very dry skin, we fully understand that with skincare, not all products will be suitable for everyone as we all have different skin types and can react differently to ingredients used. It can also take the skin time to adapt to new products as well as hormones and diet playing a part in how our skin reacts at different times and we’re so sorry to hear that this isn’t for you. “Used both cream samples sent. Lovely texture and they applied and sank into the skin really nice. Skin felt soft after. Only downside is the smell, I think it’s the turmeric. That’s just me and my sense of smell, sorry!”

We chose to keep these ones fragrance free as a lot of people have reactions to essential oils and fragrances and we wanted everyone to be able to use them. “The product is a gift for a friend. I hope she likes it. What I found odd was the ‘free gift’ of soon to be out of date stock. The delivery arrived the same month the free gift was due to expire. Surely this is just getting rid of dead stock...not really a gift. I’m not going to consume a whole box of turmeric in the next 3 weeks.”

We're really sorry that you feel this way about our free Turmeric Powder given to you. As you've quite rightly said, this has a Best Before date of the end of this year and because we have stock left, we thought it would be a nice gesture to give this to customers, rather than it be wasted. When a product has 'Best Before' this means that it can still be used after that date, though it is at its best quality-wise up to that date. This is opposed to a product which says 'Use By' and in that instance, the product should only be used until that date. Please be assured that our free gift wasn't intended to offend, and we'd hoped it would be received in the spirit in which it was given. Take care, Petrina

“I ordered the box of 4 different soaps and was very excited to try the them. I chose the Lemon, Tangerine and Cinnamon one to start with and used it for the first time in the shower this morning. The smell is gorgeous and the soap lathers up very well. However, I have to point out that it’s not suitable for the more delicate areas and burns like fire! I have not got any allergies nor sensitive skin and never had any problems with any soap or shower gel before. I also feel that my skin is very dry and itchy today. Maybe this is just a case of getting used to them...? I will definitely try all of them as I really rate the companies ethics and sustainability.”

Hi Theresa, really sorry to hear this, we've had really positive responses for the soaps for people with sensitive skin and not bring drying or irritating. However, it may be something in the Lemon and Tangerine Soap reacting for your skin (the essential oil soaps may not be suitable for more delicate areas as well). The ingredients for the lemon and tangerine soap are: Sodium Cocoate, Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Coconut Acid, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Limonene,, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Chloride, Parfum (essential oils), Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Citral, Linalool, Citrus Reticulata Peel (Tangerine) Oil, Eugenol, Cinnamomum Zeylanicum (Cinnamon) Leaf oil. Our Fragrance Free Soap also won Gold in the Free From Skincare Awards 2019, and our Exfoliating Soap won Silver, as well as all the soaps, being #1 Ethical Best Buy for soaps. As well as being Organic, Fair Trade, Vegan, and Cruelty Free. Daisy

We're thrilled that you like our Soaps but are disappointed that you felt there was too much packaging with these. Like you, we aim to be as environmentally-friendly as possible and this includes the packing we use both for the product itself and when we send them out. Usually, our soap collection is sent in its presentation box, which is put into a card envelope/pouch to protect the product and if this wasn't the case here, please accept our apologies. The reason we don't send the collection straight out in the presentation box is that many customers purchase these as gifts and so we try to keep this in good condition. Petrina.

“Im sad that we cant order the coconut milk in smaller than 20 cases its a bit much for a small business ive been in the health trade for over 30 years and have seen alot of changes ive recently seen some brands go into supermarkets like aldi a few customers said what do supermarkets know about the health trade the beauty of the independents is the advice and wanting the best for their customers also we were added to your instagram and then unfollowed ts good to follow shops that keep your products hope this helps”

Please be assured that Lucy Bee is very supportive of independent health food shops and value what they have to offer and this is why we offer a trade discount along with free items for you to trial with your initial order, followed up with social media bespoke posts. If I could explain the reason behind a minimum order of 20 cases of our Coconut Milk....the courier company does not allow us to ship liquids unfortunately because if any are damaged in transit (as they can be, despite our best efforts to securely pack these), other items and orders can be damaged. For this reason and because we value our trade partnerships and want to be able to support and supply you, we have had to look at alternative ways of shipping our Coconut Milk. The only solution to avoid leaking cartons is for this to be sent on a pallet. Obviously, we also have to make this a viable option for us as a company and we have to take into account the cost of at least £57 which we pay, to deliver this to you. This is why we have a minimum order of 20 cases. I hope this helps and explains our reasoning. Petrina

“Love the smell of the grapefruit body scrub, but even applying to dry skin there is very little exfoliation, but extrely moisturising. Love the bath salts! They are helping my back pain like no pain killer has!! Extremely disappointed that i cannot buy your milk without driving half an hour to a super market .. I don't live in the middle of nowhere so unsure why it is not stocked anywhere near caerphilly whetjer it be tesco, asda or Morrisons”

Hi Kate, thank you for your feedback. I'm pleased to hear you love the fragrance of our Body Exfoliator, but sorry to hear you do not find it exfoliating enough. I find it works best for me when I rub into dry skin before getting into the shower. We appreciate all feedback, and have listened to all comments. We have had a mixture of comments, and have added more exfoliating sugar to the next production which is in March. Thank you for your feedback on our Coconut Milk. The reason we do not sell our Coconut Milk on the shop anymore is that despite our best efforts at trying different ways to pack this for delivery, we were still experiencing some cartons getting damaged in transit and leaking. Asda and Morrisons are stocking this and if you click on 'How to Buy' on lucybee.com you can find the list of those stores stocking it. I would, however, advise calling ahead if you’re making a special trip for it to avoid any disappointment and a wasted journey. We are also talking to other retailers and really hope to add to the list of stockists soon. Sorry for any inconvenience but please be assured that this isn’t a decision taken lightly on our part. Also could you let us know if you have used any of the moisturiser please?
