“I love these watches. This one however has a short wristband. I don't have overly large wrists but this just barely gets to the last notch. I've had to buy an off-brand watchband in order to wear it. I have several Luminox watches all of which have ample band length. I'm not sure why, but I hope it is not to cut costs on materials.”
“Recently purchased the newly introduced desert field watch. I changed out the diver band to the desert colored band. I have two other Luminox watches with the rubber watch bands so this gives me choices. All 3 of my Luminox watches, including my original Navy Seals watch purchased many years ago when they were first marketed, perform flawlessly. “Love the watch and love the look. I had trouble with the first one sent but replacement was sent quickly and it works. The only problem I have is that I cant get the crown to secure. It is supposed to be a threaded "lock-down" crown. Unfortunately, I cant get it to lock down. I DID NOT OVERTIGHTEN IT. The threads simply wont engage. I pushed lightly, I pushed hard, I varied the speed at which I turned. I turned it for a long time, I turned it for a short time. It just keeps spinning. The first one the crown wouldnt tighten and it kept stopping. Second one hasnt missed abeat with time but crown will not lock.”
“Been a fan over 30 years. I have many watches. I just bought the mil spec watch. Sorry to say the band is now a much thinner rubber . And a few other shortcomings. I kept it anyway but I see the quality beginning to suffer.”
