How is the government allowing this company to still run when they are taking peoples hard earnt money so they can pay the staff wages

I can echo all the other reviews on here. Our flight to Sri Lanka was cancelled in July. We have been told that the airline has refunded our flight and lycafly has our money. Despite this, every time we ring we are fobbed off and told we must continue to wait. We will NEVER do business through this company again. We are now attempting a chargeback and, failing that, we will see what our insurance covers. We will also be publicising this far and wide as we wouldn't want anyone else to be conned by this disreputable company.

I will keep this short. I had all sorts of grief trying to get a full refund. I was told I would have to have a travel voucher. After numerous emails to an unhelpful female at Lycafly, I contacted my credit card company. So if you want a refund it is LAW and you are entitled to it. You do NOT have to accept a voucher. Contact your card provider and they will send you a form. Fill and return. You will have to wait six weeks plus but you WILL get your refund.

These people have had my money Form the airline and have not yet refunded me!!!!!!! DO NOT use these people their customer service is appalling! Would give no stars if I could!!!

I wish there was half stars option for review. My flight was cancelled in April and I ask for refund, they said I have to wait for 6-8 weeks, they have to get fund back from airline! Didn’t get anything after 9 weeks And then I was told I have wait up to 10 weeks. it's been 13 weeks and I am yet to receive a penny, since 12th of April chasing them on emails but nothing! So disappointed. don’t book your holiday with them, don’t waste your time and money.

In August 2019 I booked and paid flights from London to Mauritius with LycaFly for my wife and son. They sent me a confirmation email, so I normally assumed that I had the flights booked. The next days I started to receive calls from them, asking me if I would prefer alternative flights. I answered no. They called me again asking me the same question. From me always the same answer. I wrote them an email reiterating that i didn't want change my plan and asking to finally receive my e-ticket. After that i had another call, when they told me that the flights I had chosen (and paid for) were not available anymore and they were proposing alternatives (more expensive and less convenient for my needs). I asked for a refund, as the product for which I had paid was not available, the proposed alternatives were not adequate for my needs and i wanted to be free to look for other options. They refused to reimburse me for flights which they could not provide and i was forced to compromise for more expensive and less convenient flights (after unnecessarily having wasted several hours at the phone/email with them) I found their attitude not honest, and frankly on the verge of criminal/scam. I see here that many other users have suffered similar bad experience. I certainly will never use them anymore and I hope this review will help other users to avoid the same troubles that me and several others have experienced with LycaFly.

LYCAFLY IS THE WORST..KEEPING HOLD OF YOUR MONEY FOR 2 MONTHS EVEN THOUGH AIRLINE REFUNDED TICKET AFTER 2 DAYS...THERE SHOULD BE A LAW AND AN INVESTIGATION INTO THIS COMPANY. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY ARE CRIMINAL IN THE WAY THEY BEHAVE WITH OTHER PEOPLES HARD EARNED MONEY AND SHOULD BE ACCOUNBTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS. TRADING STANDARDS WHERE ARE YOU WHEN WE NEED YOU?

Very rude and poor customer service. Despite advising by airline refund will be processed in 3 weeks maximum these rude lycafly are advising it will take .6 months to process my refund.

“Do not use lycafly, all the support team are thieves. Do not use this scammers, as they've taken my money and dont want to refund me back. Everyday is a different story.

Do not use lycafly, all the support team are thieves, they will take every penny off you, rinse you until you’re dry. They blatantly lie, I hope they get bankrupt and go under especially when people are dying during covid and they are making matters worse by charging an extortionate amount to change flights or not even refunding.

Still awaiting my full refund. I have been lied too repeatedly. I have written correspondence promising the refund by certain dates. Still no refund. Lycafly claimed I HAD to pay an admin fee of £100 per person for our flights being cancelled due to COVID. I challenged this with Etihad whom informed me this was not the case and actually illegal. Lycafly then amended this to £30 per person. Again I challenged them, at which point I received written correspondence from them admitting they could not charge me an admin fee without my consent! I just want the £1138.92 outstanding!

I wish I could give 0 stars. Absolutely appalling. I have been waiting 5 months for my refund for a flight from Korea to London. At first the ticket was for December in which I chose to extend to July - Cost me £300+ to change the date, which I dealt with. Come July, I get an email that British airways cancelled their flights and Lycafly gave me an option to get another flight... which they expected me to pay MORE MONEY for so-called tax difference when the flight was cancelled with no fault of mine whatsoever. I finally decide to give up with this company and just asked for a refund so I can use another flight company. They offered me a 'partial refund' which they did not even specify the price for. They told me they had applied for the refund in July.... Come October, I call up British airways to check if Lycafly have applied for me refund, and what a surprise! BA tell me that there has been no refund applied for. So I call Lycafly, get a half hearted apology and they apply for my refund in October... AGAIN. Till this day, I am STILL waiting for this so-called partial refund, in which I do not even know how much I will get. They keep telling me BA isn't giving them the refund but I don't buy it. This is a shambles and I am indeed very very vexed. p.s I am a broke student and cannot afford to deal with this excuse of a company.

Would not even rate as a one star. This company has kept our money for our flights even though the airline has refunded them (the airline provided confirmation). When we contacted Lyca Fly they initially said they had refunded but the monies had clearly not been transferred. When confronted with this they claimed it a communication error. Have been cashing for weeks and still not had our money back "hopefully you will get this by the end of the month". Not even a guarantee and then blamed covid cases in office when they have blatantly told me that their "accountant" isn't based in the same office. PURE LIES. Will be taking this further legally and publicly

They shouldn't be in UK base.i don't know who provided the atol licence for them.we r two passengers waiting for us refund money from last 8 month. They don't refuse. Every week we try to ring lyca fly. They have only one excuse we r still dealing your case.plz plz plz don't support this travel agency my no is 07966097528

PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT DEMI & ANTONY PUFFIYA'S TEAM INDIAN SCAM CALL CENTERS, PLEASE BE CAREFUL, THEY ARE NOT 100% LEGIT. ONCE AFTER THEY CHARGE YOUR MONEY THEY WILL DISAPPEAR.THEY WILL NOT PICK YOUR CALLS AND REPLY YOUR EMAIL. please dont make any payments by your card or online,. your card details will be published among their scam team. They snitched almost £525 from my bank card.

I wouldn't give any stars If i could, I've been waiting since march too 5 months for a refund. However dont believe them when they say waiting for the airline, I have written evidence with transaction number confirmation that the airline refunded my money to lycafly on the 29th July. I sent them this information in email and still not recieved my money back. I believe the company are committing theft, I spoke to someone on the phone & before they even had my booking details they called the airline liars, what a unprofessional company this is. I have had no choice but to get a lawyer and they have recorded everything, even the conversation I've had with them. Please do not use this company

Absolutely awful service. waiting for a refund since March for Sri Lanka flights. Was told 6-8 weeks then 10 weeks for refund to be paid, it is now 18 weeks absolutely awful. just want my money back its ridiculous, Cannot speak with anyone on the phone. Trying to get proof that refund has been placed without no success. Keep on blaming airline for not making refund. I keep asking how long do we wait for. Awful customer service would never use these again. just want back what is mine !!!!!

Don’t use them. They will not refund your money. On top of that customer services is rubbish.They keep lying to customers. Go and check their twitter account too full of complains. Its been six month and i haven't received my return yet. They will not answer you email or will never call you back. So please spread the message and save other people money.
