Trying to pay of loan at the moment and been waiting 45 minutes so far, not happy and would not recommend to people if this is how they treat there customers

The worst banking app ever. When I generate a new code there is nowhere to enter the new number and the old code stops working. Have spoken to customer services each time it happened as I am always being locked out. The only way I can get it work is to delete the app and reinstall it - absolutely rediculous. I've been a customer for over 20 years and am now for the first time seriously considering giving it up, which is a shame as I do like the points!

Absolute appalling service, totally and utterly customer unfriendly. Took nearly one hour to complete application and when the person actually sent the email confirming this again I could not register as came up with issue I contacted them about. This seriously need sorting out as if this a taste of what is to come they are going to lose many customers.

STUPID APP! I can use my pass pin but can only get up balance on account. When I generate a code there is no where to enter the code. 🤔

Seem to be having similar issues as other people. Trying to register for internet banking and the process gets stuck half way through and qn error message. Helpline and live chat useless. Avoid the good credit card balance transfer. Lucky for me I haven't transferred the balance yet.

UNABLE TO SPEAK TO A UK CALL CENTRE. ALL CALLS DIVERTED TO FAR EAST. THE PHONE CONNECTIONS ARE POOR AND IT IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND THE OPERATORS. STAY AWAY!!!!

Extremely poor helpline - I would guess it is in India from the very hard to understand accents - have had to call several times about credit card over the years and service has never been acceptable. This last time was trying to get help with registering for internet banking - obscure msg from web page and poor helpline communication let this company down.

Awful online banking app. Dated & Clunky. They give you a tiny little battery device with tiny fonts and buttons - the thing cannot be used on a desk because it flips over when you press a button!! Useless. I have Nationwide and Lloyds accounts, both have excellent web apps and the battery devices they provide are sturdy, and easy to use. No surprise M&S Bank is closing

I have a credit card with M&S bank. Mobile banking app is terrible as it gives no pending transactions and no statements. So tried tonight to see my statement via Internet Banking and no luck could not find them anywhere. Absolutely terrible experience.

Going back when trying to open m&s ca and switch, it took so long that the interest rate went down on the regular saver a/c I intended opening. So my husband didn’t bother and just had the credit card. Then the quarterly vouchers offering points when you spend were to be used with my debit card so now they’re closing current a/cs I haven’t received the points vouchers which I normally receive with the money off vouchers earned while shopping with the previous points vouchers. My husband is still receiving these but I’m not even tho I too have a credit card. Did 2 online messages and not happy with the replies saying that the vouchers are sent out randomly like a lottery. This is untrue as we have received these quarterly since the credit card applications over a year ago. Not happy I have to switch my ca. When companies stop growing and customers are not happy with enquiry replies it might be a start to a slippery slope to extinction.

If I could give no star I would. I requested M&S bank to recoup funds from FatFace I received no assistance. M&S kept saying they will send me form to complete. Received none instead I was send letter of arrears from FCA. Terrible no assistance for their customers. Eventually after numerous emails and substance phone call FatFace refunded me but M&S charged me interest.

Awful customer service. Wasnt advised when I opened the account ,that to pay cash in,you have yo phone them first every time.Now they have advised all current accounts are closing .They messed up the new take over ,on my m and s direct debit payment ,and caused me to have a late payment for the first time ,and then put it on my credit file .I'm disgusted ,that they arnt putting it right ,as it was their mistake.

Ideally I'd give no stars. Got to be the most outdated banking system around. Only way to get something changed or check a query is by phone so as you can imagine you can be on hold waiting to speak to an advisor for a long time.

Wanted to make an international transaction for £4.99!. Not possible online, I have to call. It takes me 10 minutes and I am still not finished with security questions? I am not a native English speaker, the customer assisten isn't. First I ask ther to speak slower so that I can understand her. Then she starts to ask about random transactions that I made and is spelling random names, when I can't understand her, she gets loud? Really? ... I am starting to look for another bank.

have used M&S credit card for many many years. When i needed them during Covid, nobody available to speak to and even when I sat on hold to get through to the disputes team they had somebody talking calls telling their customers that they were NOT talking any calls inorder to streamline their workload !!. Appalling customer service and I am moving away to a company that will be there when I need them.
