“I was looking for super chunky wools to make hats for the Christmas shoe boxes that our church send to underprivileged children abroad, and basically you ticked the box as I had used all my spare wool”

“Yarn really good quality for price. Received very promptly and well packaged. Disappointed however with low choice of colours at this time. I knit for charity so price is important but struggled to find enough suitable colours for this order.”

“I have ordered from them before and service was good. This time I received 1 item that was incorrect but after emailing them I received a prompt response with the correct wool sent to me and a pre paid bag for returning the wrong wool. Good customer service.”

“Marriner Yarns are an exceptionally good company; their staff are very helpful and the service is very good. I do have just a small gripe which is that sometimes certain colours become unavailable within a day or two of looking online which when ordering for other people in a group can be a bit of a problem. Other than that they are excellent. Thank you and please continue the good work.”

“Very good and affordable yarns. I really enjoy knitting with them but the delivery service is not the best and could greatly be improved, especially when your parcels are casually thrown over your back garden fence as the delivery person could not be bothered to knock at your door!”

“The yarn arrived within a week, was well packaged, is the colour ordered. My friend, who asked me to order it for her, is delighted and planning on knitting a spring cardigan for herself with it. Lovely stuff! Would definitely order again.”

“I am currently using a marriner double knit acrylic yarn for a crochet blanket. It's working up nicely, though feels slightly thicker than other brands. It's good to see the Marriner label back, though as I reminds me of the wool shop my mum kept in the 1970's”

“A great range of yarns. I use the 4 ply on cones because I machine knit. My wife likes dk multicolours because she hand knits and of cause the prices are very competitive. I mark down from 5 stars because I would like to see more colours in the cones .”
