“Red yarn was of poor quality, some wound too tightly and others riddled with knots, its not great for making a jumper but as im making a rug, it didn't much bother me. Not all yarn balls were bad but its something to be careful of if making things that require consistency in quality. Fantastic prices and great colours otherwise.”

“All the wool I have ordered has arrived a week after order placed . Its of a good qulity. The only one that had lots of knots in it was the blanket cosy wool., Happy with my buys”

“The only thing I found was some balls of wool had knots in them I'm guessing more wool was added to make 100grms .the colours and textures of the soft wool is lovely and easy to use have made a few throws for family”

“Good quality for the price which is very important at the moment. The only problem was that some of the balls of yarn had quite a few knots which was a shame as I ended up ripping back and using those balls for sleeves so as not to have a knot mid row.”

“Lovely to work with. Crocheted a cuddly gecko for my granddaughter and in the process of making a frog for my grandson. Can't comment on how durable this yarn is or how well it would wear if made into wearables. But one of the easiest to work with and easy on the fingers.”

“I enjoy using all of the Marriner yarns. Such good value and great quality. I've been disappointed a couple of times when I've run out of a particular shade only to find it's been discontinued. This has happened to me with the Essentials range on one occasion and with the Mermaid range. Aside from this I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.”
