“I placed my usual order for DK yarn in Christmas colours. The order was processed and the items arrived quickly. I have noticed however, that the white yarn appears slightly thinner than the red and green.”

“Lovely chunky wool I ordered. Came in good time. Some of the balls of wool had a few marks on them, but washed off when the blanket I had done was finished. Pleased and will order again.”

“Love Marriner yarns the only problem I have is they empty my basket within minutes if I do not actually buy anything, most annoying because I like to ponder and swap items and keep looking until I am happy with what I need to purchase. Please could this be altered most websites keep your basket for long periods of time, if something sells out then they take it out of my basket which is fine 🙂 Thankyou Noelle”

“I agree with other comments: Marriners have great yarn and good patterns - I have been buying from them for a few years now. To get 5* from me - stop using evri/hermes. For the sake of saving a pound or so stick with the Royal Mail to ensure prompt delivery. Here in Northern Ireland it takes a week for evri/hermes to deliver to me.....and that is if you are lucky. Royal Mail delivery = 2 to 3 days. This review refers to my last order. *****Please Marriner get the order delivered to me promptly that I've placed today.*****”

“I love the yarns I get from Marriners as well as the excellent prices. But I'm not sure I will be reordering due to the terrible delivery company you use. Evri, aka Hermes, is well renowned for bad service and they have done it again. They received my order from you on the 11th but kept hold of it till today, 15th. I got an email saying delivery window was 1:30 - 3:30. No delivery arrived. At 5:15 I got another email saying my delivery would be 4:30 - 6:30. It finally arrived at 6:45, delivered by a very scruffy, dirty man in a plain white van. Totally unprofessional. So again I say Marriners are amazing but you really need to change your delivery company!”

“Yarn arrived quickly (Merino pure wool double knit), but I am a little disappointed that this is the only pure wool you do, especially as your website states you have sheep; a missed opportunity I think. The balls tend to fall apart halfway through, leading to tangling, but the wool is beautifully soft.”
