“A little bit of a mix-up with the delivery method as, when I rang to enquire when I would receive my yarn, the person I spoke to could not find a trace of the delivery date with Hermes. A replacement lot was sent via Hermes which arrived two days later. Then a day later my original order arrived via Royal Mail which had taken almost a week to arrive. I have spoken to Mariner and paid for both deliveries and look forward to knitting up a storm!”

“Pre-purchase service was very accessible, the yarn was very good value and carefully packaged, and the colours are lovely. I had hoped to have a note on the package asking that it be left in a safe place if necessary, but this was actually placed inside the packaging. Fortunately, I was at home to receive it, so it didn't matter. I shall be using Marriners again.”

“I like the quality of the wool for the price. But the colour was a little different to what I expected from the website. The mustard was more golden yellow. But my friend liked it so all was well. Will definitely order again.”

“The double knit is soft and there is a good range of colours. However, the thickness is variable, with a few colours being noticably thinner than most, though all called double knit. I like the variegated balls, as well as those of a single colour.”

“My first order from Marriner Yarns and the delivery was super quick. The yarn is lovely although not as soft as my usual acrylic yarn - hence 4 stars. The price was good however and I would probably order again. Thank you for your quick delivery.”
