“I'm currently making 3 childrens' gilets with Marriner Mermaid Chunky. Having previously been making hats with 4-ply it's a real treat to see my new work grow so fast. I'm enjoying working with this yarn. The random colours are fun, and will reflect each of the children's wacky characters! The knitting is coming up very neatly, and looks good. I just hope the children like their clothes - they don't know they are coming.”

“I have always been impressed with the speed at which my order arrives, this time not so goo. I am disappointed not to have received a brochure showing the range, I have asked foe three times. However, these hitches will not stop me from buying my yarn from mariners, I can only think this was a small blip.”

“I cas on 147 stitches on the small needle stated (I still call them size 12!), and the first row is always time consuming. More than half way through I found a KNOT! I couldn't have a knot right on the hem line, so the work had to be pulled out. I've since had another knot, but managed to see it ahead, cut it out and weave in the two lengths. I haven't used 4 ply for ages, but am going ahead - the colour is true to the illustration. Apart from that there more than a dozen jumpers waiting to go to Romania to help keep orphans warm.. Delivery was as stated - pleased with the handling system.”

“Arrived in good time. The yarn looks good and it knitting up well. Still work in progress, so cannot comment on the washing aspects. However, at the moment I am really pleased with the purchase”
