“Your company came to light via Amazon through which I placed my first order. Then I placed an order direct with Marriner and am very pleased with wool received. The colours are true. the wool is soft to the touch and the price is very competitive. I have half a dozen lady friends who knit items for local hospitals and African charities. They have no access to wool shops so I keep them supplied via the internet. I will place orders with Marriner in the future.”

“The material and the prices were good. The difficulty I had was in placing the order on line. Having made my selection and entered all the relevant requested information, I was unable to get the web site to accept my address. It insisted that I fill in a line of address that did not exist. In the end, after spending some time trying to get the site to accept my address I was forced to give up and contact the supplier by telephone. I ended up placing my order by telephone.”

“Best value for money I have found yet, the yarn is nice to knit with and I just love the sparkle. The colour was a shade darker than I thought it would be but not so much I wanted to send it back. This is my 4th garment I have used using your wool and every time I found it exceptional quality.”

“Very pleased with all the wool I purchased. Just wished I had known about the free postage on orders over £25.00 as I spent £24.95 and could easily have added another ball - I will remember that next time”

“as a hand knitter for many years I do enjoy your wool it is very good to work the only thing I found was that I get a lots of knots near the end of and some times in the middle but I will still like it”

“Purchased two patterns (downloadable). E-mail arrived quickly with link to down load. Slightly disappointed with one of the patterns as the font used is very small to make it fit on the pages, then you get an almost empty page at the end. Would have been much nicer with a larger font. Other pattern fine. Patterns seem well written and easy to follow.”

“My order went astray and after calling to ask, spoke to lovely person who rang back a short time later. Delivery was resent and arrived within 48 hours and I was very pleased with the service and help that i received. I will be using Marriner again thankyou to all for your help.”

“Your wool is very good value for money. However I was very disappointed when I received my latest order to find the Double Knitting Lime was a totally different colour to the previous order. I knit blankets for Tanzania and a different dye doesn't matter as it is in a different square against other colours, but a different colour does matter. I then had to go to the local high street wool shop to match up some lime coloured wool to finish the blanket. This cost me 75p per 25g ball and I needed approximately 7 balls. Please try to keep your colours consistent in future.”

“In my spare time I crochet blankets for cats. I also knit. I like the Mariner Bumper Packs and have moved up to cones. My main observation is that there is a variation in weight between different colours which tends towards unevenness when, for example knitting a scarf using three colours. Otherwise, service swift. William Stewart”
