“I am delighted with the yarns I have received, the colours are excellent and they are knitting up beautifully, the only thing that has stop me giving this company 5 stars is that I also ordered 5 patterns which were not in the delivery, if, when I contact them about this it is sorted out to my satisfaction, then I will certainly give them 5 stars.”

“I have purchased 8 4ply cone 500g (claret) to make a double bedspread, I have started this project using a small crochet hook and I am finding that the yarn is constantly splitting, I am hoping it is just the one cone and the other seven will be ok. other than this one issue I have used mariner wool for a long time and would recommended this company to anyone who loves wool/yarn.”

“Ordering was really easy, order was a bit delayed due to Christmas holiday post but not anyone's thought. Responded to my email in good time and yarn was received shortly after. Good packaging, seems to be good quality (DK yarn) but have not used yet. Yarn feels really soft . Good colour. Good value. Really pleased with product & service. The only thing I'd suggest is that I'd like to see is an estimation of delivery date when ordering. However, Yes I would order again in fact I'm looking already! Good value, good product, good service.”

“I haven't given 5star as I'm yet to start knitting , but I was very pleased with the service, speed of delivery and the easy ordering. I have to have some treatment which means I have to take life easy for a while, so that's when I shall start knitting, and maybe order more wool!!”

“Your service and prices are very good. I ordered several patterns, not realising that these do not come as hard copies with any wool order but, when I received my wool within a couple of days, and queried the lack of patterns, I had a reply e mail the same day telling me just how to download them. When living in Devon I used to pop into Shaws in Barnstaple to buy patterns and wool from the shop, so I am still learning my way round the web site. I have always been very happy with the yarn I have used, which is of excellent quality and at a reasonable price.”

“I found Marriners Yarn via Amazon and now buy direct. So far I have used the 4x, 2x, Aran and I'm just about to try the chunky, acrylic and wool mix. All knit up and crochet well, and I've produced, scarfs, Christmas decorations, bags, baby blankets, hats and mittens all for resale. This product is a low value, high quality yarn and it is difficult to criticise it, although I would like to see deeper colours in the acrylics.”

“Order came very quickly and yarns are an excellent price. Unfortunately, the colour I needed - emerald - did not match my previously bought emerald - although having the same name, it was a completely different shade of green. I realise that different dye lots do produce different shades but the original was such a lovely colour, I was disappointed that I hadn't ordered the amount of wool I needed. I am sure I will use this website again.”
