Nancy states she is a manager and gave me by far the worst experience while my husband was trying to buy me Mother’s Day balloons after they gave him happy birthday balloons instead the correct balloons she became racist and acting like we stole the balloons. Infront of our son at that! She wanted to snatch the receipt out of his hands then states my husband was being rude!! I need to speak to someone because I am a loyal customer but after this I will not return to Michaels!

I’m a paying customer I needed help; I’m very indecisive (especially about frames). All of the employees were busy so I was patiently waiting. I went to one employee that I’m familiar with and ask her for her opinion of course I couldn’t get an answer right away because she was busy blowing up multiple balloons for customers and attending the cash register. While I was waiting, I was going back-and-forth to the front area and the frame area to compare the prices online and in store. When she finally helped me which I am grateful for, she said that the price for this one frame will be better online. She was helping me figure out how to place the order online as well (I am not text savvy). Then she had to go back to blow up balloons and helping customers again at the cash register. she probably talk to me for a good two minutes or less while blowing up balloons she was multitasking. When I was finally done with the transaction. I waited for my order to be fulfilled. Which in fact did not take that long. Here’s the problem. The manager Ed came over to me a paying Customer asking me to leave because this is not a hangout area Ed and the store manager Brandon told me I was hanging out for 45 minutes standing still. There is no way I was standing in one spot especially in Michaels for 45 minutes and yes, I was probably in Michaels for an hour or two going around the whole store to figure out how to set up my art piece for the auction that I have tonight. I do not appreciate the manager coming to me asking me to leave after I bought something from that store. Brandon the store manager was no help. One-sided did not care about the customer at all or my concerns. He was just trying to defend the managers response about having me leave. Just because I know someone from the store does not mean I am going to chitchat in one spot for 45 minutes( because apparently both managers were watching on the camera for 45 minutes and wasn’t doing anything at all). This store is in Connecticut in Hartford.

The company doesn’t care about their emplyees. They ask way to much and pay to little and the customers are VERY entitled and have poor attitudes.

I waited in line for fifteen minutes to get a balloon blown up. The cashier is lazy. She didn’t inform anyone to blow up my balloon because she doesn’t know how😡At least 11people where checked out while I waited and still nothing until I spoke up😡I never have problems in Michael’s in Waco Texas on North Valley Mills. Today was the worst. The cashier has been coughing the whole time using no sanitizer on her hands after coughing in them😡Burgundy shirt with gold buttons with curly brown and black curly hair 😡

I shopped your store in Lisbon, Ct. I was interested in buying (2) Pound of Love Yarn. Could not find two that was the same dye lot. Every color had different dye lots. I think that since Michael's took over JoAnne stores, yarn from JoAnne was distributed to different Michael stores. There were at least (10) Pound of Love Yarn colors. I find it hard to believe that knitters would not pay attention or not know differences in dye lots. The yarn with different dye lots look very similar, however, upon completion of the work it is very noticeable. I was able to find, deeply hidden, and buy a color with the same dye lot. I spent over a half hour searching. When I first started knitting, I did not pay attention to "dye lots". The finished product was very noticeable.

MINUS -5 STARS Terrible Experience at Flagler St. Michael’s – Avoid at All Costs! I usually never write negative reviews, but my experience with the Flagler St. Michael’s store was so frustrating and unprofessional that I feel obligated to warn others. I placed an online order for a custom frame for two pieces of art I recently brought back from Mexico. Shortly after, I started receiving multiple calls and voicemails from the store. First, they told me that if I didn’t bring my art to the store within 24 hours they would cancel my order. When I pushed back and explained that my receipt clearly stated I had 30 days to drop off the artwork, they insisted they would cancel it anyway unless I rushed over immediately. Later, I got another voicemail admitting that I was right, that I had up to 30 days, and that I could come by anytime before 7:00 pm. So, two days later, I drove 40 minutes to the store and arrived at 6:30 pm, only to find that no one was at the framing department. Another employee tried to help but ended up wasting over an hour of my time telling me to “wait,” “come back another day,” or “someone from framing will call tomorrow.” In the end, they couldn’t even cancel my order because the framing manager Rosalia or anyone from her team wasn’t there to handle it. This whole ordeal was a complete waste of time, gas, and money. The staff had no idea what the actual policies or procedures were, contradicted themselves, and left me with zero resolution. For a big-name store, the level of disorganization and lack of professionalism was shocking. ⚠️ Do yourself a favor and avoid Michael’s at Flagler Street in Miami. They don’t follow their own rules, they mislead customers, and their customer service — especially under the framing manager Rosalia — is a total mess.

A framing project sat at Michael’s in Turkey Creek Knoxville for more than two weeks without even being started. When I checked on it was told their framer had left and they had them coming from other stores. No clue as to when the job would be completed. The store manager kept saying she was from another store as if that meant she had no responsibility for the matter. I did yell at her in frustration and she shut down after that. Hung up on me. Was never notified there was a hold-up. Will never use them again.

My experience at Michaels is usually a great one, the staff is knowledgeable & courteous. I am however EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED that every holiday is acknowledged EXCEPT Juneteenth & before that Black History Month. Is this purposely done?

I was treated like I was bothering one of the staff and I was also informed that they were short staffed. Her customer service skills are none existent. There was only one staff member that helped me with the self check out. She atleast treated me like a human. This was in the Killingly, CT location.
