MobyMemory are complete scam artists! Received phone calls from my bank (Lloyds) a week after purchasing an order, informing me of suspicious activity and unauthorised payments coming from my account, had to block them and was issued with a new card, another reviewer had the same thing happen to them! Will be contacting the Information Commissioners Office to investigate if my bank details were stolen, I don't believe that's a coincidence. They've purposely shut down their phonelines (initially went to voice mail, now rings forever with no answer), so your only option to contact customer support is via email, by which you receive copy and pasted replies in broken English. After my 3rd email I received no further replies. I purchased the following items; Samsung Galaxy S3 battery, Toshiba 32 GB USB memory stick and Sandisk 128 GB MicroSD (Total: £55) on 30th January 2017 and chose the free delivery option - big mistake. I waited the whole of February (28 days) just in case there was a delay in delivery but I never received the items. I contacted them in the beginning of March and have not had the issue even aknowledged, let alone resolved. I've complained with numerous emails asking for a refund and they've just been ignored. I contacted Royal Mail and told them that it was sent as "Royal Mail 48" untracked, I was told that it's the sender's responsibility to fill in a P58 form and provide proof of postage details in order to apply for a loss of item complaint. Issue is as-of-yet unresolved on Monday 6th March. I have contacted Trading Standards UK via telephone, waited in line for almost an hour but eventually got through, I have been given good advice and will be contacting my bank asking them if they can refund my money in a chargeback scheme. I will also be writing a letter of formal complaint of a Breach of Contract to MobyMemory, with a deadline of 7 - 14 days for a response, sent via Royal Mail "Signed For". If MobyMemory does not respond within that time period with a solution of a full refund and reimbursement of my consequential losses, I will be contacting Trading Standards again and taking actions further, I will take legal action if necessary. I'm also informing Watch Dog of this situation and will be starting a social media campaign against MobyMemory via Facebook, Twitter etc. I have also noticed that the TrustPilot reviews are all positive, don't read that bullshit, reviews.co.uk are all authentic and negative reviews. I will be copy / pasting this review on; Reviews.co.uk, TrustPilot and MobyMemory's Facebook page and anywhere else I can find. My message to anyone reading this is to AVOID MobyMemory, and eBay for that matter, pay a little extra and purchase genuine items from a trusted online retailer. 0 / 5 star rating, I'll make them pay for scamming me of my money.

I also got stung on an order placed 13th March 2017. After digging around it seems that prior to April 2016, Moby Memory were a legitimate business (as it was recommended to me by a friend) and had been trading since 2009. However, in April 2015, the company dissolved and a new company was registered (Company number 10099753) on 4th April 2016 under the same name. This new company has been trading fraudulently since then and the owners name is SHAH, Meetul. The company registration number they quote on their website (08775950) is incorrect - this actually relates to a company called NEWBAY TRADING LIMITED and it's directors are named as 1) MONERY, Christopher Tom, 3a, Livingstone Court, 55 Peel Road, Harrow, Middlesex, United Kingdom, HA3 7QT 2) SHAH, Heeran - 3a, Livingstone Court, 55 Peel Road, Harrow, Middlesex, HA3 7QT and 3) KAHAN, Barbara - Winnington House, 2 Woodberry Grove, North Finchley, London, United Kingdom, N12 0DR. Heeran Shah and Meetul Shah are brothers aged 30 and 27 respectively. It seems that illegal activity runs in the family. The website is clearly fraudulent and they have pounced on unsuspecting customers who used and trusted Moby Memory in the past. I guess we can all learn to be more diligent online and do our research.

Disgusting service. Moby-Memory I would have given 0 Stars if I were allowed. Written by Mark Cort. Leicester. Order No. 200175092 1ordered 2 x XQD memory cards for two events last weekend (25 & 26 February). I ordered them on 15 February and at the time of writing (27th Feb) I still have not yet received them. I heard nothing for the first 5 days, then I was sent an email on 20 Feb to say they've been sent via recorded delivery. Seven days later, I still haven't received them. I do not believe for a second that something posted via recorded delivery, takes 7 days to arrive. They are liars and don't need my money. I'm very unhappy with a 13 day wait for two memory cards at over £128.00. Also, there's been no communication and it took a complaint to receive an answer. I'll be returning the cards for a refund once I receive them.

MOBY MEMORY - AVOID THIS COMPANY They don’t deliver but keep your money. 29/01/17 - ordered four memory sticks, expected delivery 4 to 5 days. 08/02/17 - emailed as not delivered. They said that they would look into it, must have got lost in post, will send replacement order 13/02/17 – emailed again. Told replacement order being sent tomorrow. 18/02/17 – emailed again. Told that 2 orders lost in post, new order being sent. 23/02/17 7 24/02/17 - . emailed again asking for refund. No replies. Web Site has permanent message saying “Telephone - we are currently having issues with our phone lines which is affecting our ability to answer calls. “ They never answer. Have now reported to trading standards. Next step is to contact credit card company to get the money refunded. Seems that this is a common problem. Strange thing is that on Trust pilot have have a review of 8.9, but every other review site I have seen has a score of 1 or 2 out of 5.

Ordered 2 micro sd cards with express postage too. Item never received by date promised. I emailed them, automated response received a day later. Email then recieved saying my goods had been sent but they also offered alternative brand ones which they would send out when I replied to it. I am convinced that the original ones were never sent! We shall see if the replacement ones come on the post tomorrow! Somehow I doubt it so I will be reporting this company to Consumer protection. With the history of my transactions etc. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!

Wish I'd read these reviews before ordering from Moby Memory and the delivery section in more detail. They must physically hold the orders back on purpose. My Credit Card Payment was taken on the 2 Feb when placing the order, didn't receive order confirmation until 6th which is unacceptable, and have not received item yet - 7 working days. Even with Royal Mail 2nd class I should have received it by now!! Ironical thing is I could have got it cheaper elsewhere but chose Moby because it looked a good company. Not ever again.

Item ordered 22nd December 2016 still not received 8th February 2017 despite promises by Moby Memory that this would be looked into and sorted which included having been told by them on 22nd January 2017 that a replacement had been sent and should be with me within 48 hours! Poor in the extreme.

I brought a Samsung note 4 battery from this seller roughly 9 months ago. After 6 months the battery exploded causing damage to my flooring and my glasses as the phone was on my bed side table. I contacted Samsung regarding this who investigated the issue and found that the battery was not genuine. I contact Moby Memory who have lied to me multiple times saying they have contacted "Samsung" and then finally stating that they never sold me the battery as they had no S/N matching the battery when I know for a fact that they sold me this battery. They have just tried to fob me off and cannot be trusted. If the battery had exploded and I had not realised the results could have been very different as the battery was on fire. If you value your life please do not buy from Moby Memory as they lie continously and state they sell genuine products when infact they do not.

I ordered a new battery for my iPhone but was sent a second hand battery. When I opened the package it was in very poor condition and it was obvious that it had been taken out of another phone. The battery they sent had a cycle count of 1027 and a maximum charge of 1313 mAh (only 82% of it’s design capacity of 1560 mAh). They have accepted the return but have not sent a returns envelope after several requests. I'm still waiting for a refund. I'm really unhappy with the product and their customer service is very poor. I feel that this is dishonest and not an acceptable way for a company to act.

Just a warning to all potential custo ers of this so-called company. Ordered a memory card which never arrived. Was fobbed off with 'supplier issues' so after 28 days of no-show, requested a full refund. Refund received along with a letter from my bank advising me that a new debit card was being issued due to fraudulent activity on my account. After 15+ years of owning a debit card, I have never had anything like this happen. Coincidence....I think not. Unbelievable. Take my advice and the last 20+ statements here and steer clear of this company. Company has also gone bust before and the owner also owns other companies which have gone bankrupt too. Check companies house. Don't risk the hassle and buy from a reputable retailer like Argos, Pc world.....anyone but these robbing clowns!

I would really like to add to my review of this despicable company, but will add another to warn everybody. The goods did not arrive, I got a refund then 2 days later 1 small and 2 massive purchases from my account. Like many others my card was cloned. Thankfully I had already been in contact with my bank regarding this possibility and they took the necessary action and will be dealing with the relevant authorities. Do not use mobymemory, I know what I'd like to call them, but I won't. Everything I have stated is the truth and I have a full paper trail to prove it.

As other reviewers have stated, within two weeks of my purchase, nearly £700 worth of fraudulent transactions went through on my debit card. I was contacted by the fraud detection team at HSBC. It's worth noting that the memory sticks I ordered did arrive, however from a different company (marked as a book store) however, not expecting any of this to happen, I discarded the bag they came in with the return address. Should anyone know of the bookstore in question, I am currently in contact with the police and they may find this very useful information to have.

Very similar experience to a number of people posting on here. Ordered a new SSD and RAM for my laptop in mid April. Only the SSD arrived after 10 days, no explanation from Moby. They replied to one email to say there was a delay from the supplier and they would send RAM soon. Still not heard anything. They have never answered the phone and not replied to any further emails or a request for a refund. My card company also notified me of fraudulent activity on my account within a few days of my order. Am going to pursue a refund through my credit card company and will be referring Moby to trading standards as this is clearly a very dodgy business.

Just an update. Moby Memory issued me a refund after lying to me for 17+ days. I was a victim of card fraud after using them...coincidence....I don't think so. Someone bought a train ticket and a bus ticket with my CC. I only knew after I checked my account for the refund. PLEASE CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS CAREFULLY FOR UNAUTHORISED PAYMENTS
