“I Wanted To Support a Company That is Not. Amazon!
Good Bad infuriating! I'm sick of Amazon and I wanted to try to buy clothes from other companies. I purchased 2 tops from Modliy I was very excited about the designs and colours. I found the fabric comfortable and I like the flower pattern for the under layer and the clip at the waist is quite cute It fits in the shoulders and hips, however, the sleeves are too long and I couldn't wear it without doing alterations. I was also disappointed that the purple outer fabric is not as vibrant as the picture shows. I also bought another top that has some similarities with it being two layers of purple and flower pattern underneath. The second one, the shoulders fit, and the bust area fits, but at the back there is excess fabric and in order for me to wear it, I would have to have it altered. I also found the fabric comfortable. Because I can't wear these garments without doing alterations, I decided to return them and get a refund. I have been unable to do this. The instructions indicate that I need to print a return slip. There is no possible way to print a return slip from the website. I've contacted customer service three times to try to get a return slip. Each interaction whether was email or live chat has taken a total of three hours and I still don't have a return slip. I was also given some confusing information about returning it with photos, but I'm not sure what photos I am supposed to take or how do I include photos in a package that I'm mailing. do they expect me to print photos of the clothes? I paid $100 Canadian for these two items to return them. It will cost me $35 to mail to the address that they provided. Without having the proper documentation, I am very sceptical that they will return my money. So spending $35 to send it back is a gamble. They could not provide me with the proper paperwork to guarantee a refund I requested 75% back of the money. They refused. I requested 50% of the money and they refused.. They did offer me coupons and discounts on my more purchases, but this doesn't help me if the garments are not gonna fit me properly. This is been long and arduous waste of my money my time and most importantly my energy. I give a deep sigh as I open the Amazon app. 😔”
“Shipping is ridiculously long. My package has been sitting all week somewhere in NY - I am in Vegas and had hoped to wear it to my grandson's graduation this weekend. Now I have to spend more money elsewhere. Truly disappointed.”

However I ordered a medium and they were so large they could have fit Godzilla.

“I was really happy with the first item so I decided to take a chance on an adorable sleeveless top. Took about three weeks to arrive and the print was so much different than the picture. But what really stunk was the colors were completely different. I was expecting vibrant yellow and green and got dull gold and blue. I probably should've check the product specs and not relied on the pic. Dang am I unhappy.”
“The cloths were fine they just didn’t fit. I returned 3 blouses using Modlily label and have yet to receive a refund of any amount. I’m so disappointed because the cloths were good but if you cannot return then it’s not for me. I’m out $100. Lesson learned the hard way”
“I ordered three dresses. I got them home, tried on each one and one of them didn't fit well so I put it back in the package it came in and returned it. Modlilly refused to refund my money because they said the item didn't meet there return criteria! There's no way that anything was wrong with that dress as I had it on for no more than two minutes. If you need to return something, make sure you document its condition before you send it back!”
“The blouse looked beautiful. In person, the colors were not as vivid and the material was horrible- a 1970s polyester that is very hot when worn. Worse, it had a tulle like boarder anlg the bottom of the sleeves and the bottom of the blouse. Serves no purpose other than to further cheapen the overall look. Ordered another blouse before this one had arrived. I shudder to think what it will be like.”
“Ordered 3 bathing suits. Quality was fine given the price. However, 2 suits were too big. I needed to return them but I can’t get return label to process. I tried daily for 2 weeks. Now it is too late to return and be within 30 day window.”
“I was very disappointed in the time length it took to receive my package. It was supposed to be delivered on December 16th but never received it until January 16th. This is not good for your company but I for one will not be looking to buy anything from you in the near future. And i will not be recommending your company to anyone i know.”
