This robe is velveted and the navy color is a nuanced deep blue with an interior light...not a dead dull navy. Truly fantastic for California weather as it is warm but not heavy. The tight weave keeps your heat in without bulk. The kimono sleeves are a great length for warmth without getting wet because they are not so long that you can not complete a simple task . My only complaint is the price. $100 for a bathrobe is absolutely extreme, especially when it only comes in 1 color. It's not electric, doesn't tie itself, and doesn't even give massages.
