The ordering progress and delivery were fine. The book was not what I was expecting. I probably did not read the description carefully enough. The shipping fee was exorbitant for the size of the book I received.

Dear Anonymous, We are so sorry that the book wasn't what you expected. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed. You may return any item for a refund or exchange. Our shipping tiers are determined by dollar amount. The more you order, the lower the percentage. Many of our items are non-standard sizes and some are quite heavy so we must find an average. Shipping charges should never be a surprise and should have been clearly shown during the checkout process. The products are great. The only issue I had was customer service. I ordered 2 Junior Ramp Racers to give to my niece and son for the holidays. I only received one but was charged for 2. I reached out multiple times via email and never received a response. I wound up having to get a different gift for my niece and was never reimbursed.

Dear Kristyn, I am so sorry that one of your items was missing. You should have been sent another right away or been offered a refund. It's unusual for Customer Service not to reply promptly. We are looking into this. It is possible that the email got missed or wasn't delivered but that still is no excuse. I just reached out to you directly to see if you would like a replacement or a refund for this item. I do hope you will give us another chance. When placing an order with Montessori Services, the turn over time is extremely long.

We apologize for any delays you may have experienced. In most cases in-stock items ship within 2-5 days of the receipt of the order (transit time is additional). Out-of-stock items may take longer depending on availability. We do try very hard to communicate when an item is expected (updates are also available on our website). I see that your last order was shipped the day after it was placed but the one prior to that was for an item that was out-of-stock and it was delayed for three months. Again, I'm very sorry. Your satisfaction is important to us. We never received product. I recall and email explaining there was a significant delay - so I went ahead and ordered another product from another company. I ordered this product well over a year ago and we have since moved - so if it was just delivered, it wasn’t to the right address anymore. I’d be happy to change my review if you’re open to a resolving Company did reach out following my review and worked to find a solution. Thank you.

Dear Julia, We are so sorry that your shipment took so long to arrive. Our records show that we shipped your item within two days of the receipt of your order and that it was shipped by USPS. Unfortunately, we do not have any control over their transit time. This year has been an extremely unusual year. All freight carriers have been overwhelmed and delivery times have been longer than normal. We do hope this will improve in 2021. Again, our apologies. Your prices are high! We always try to find ways to purchase items at a lower cost. Schools tend to be on a budget like that. And... it seems like we frequently need what we need yesterday. We don't order from MS if we need things in a hurry. Yes, we could pay extra for shipping, but then we're facing the first problem again... that your prices are high. If you have lots of money and lots of time... MS is great!

Dear Bonny, Thank you for your feedback. We were founded by a teacher to save other teachers and schools time and money by being a source for some of the hard-to-find items for the Montessori classroom. We understand that there are other choices out there and we try very hard to keep our prices as low as possible. While we have little control over the transit time on packages shipped from CA (our warehouse) to your location on the East Coast, I can assure you that we are always trying to improve our in house processing time. This year has been especially challenging, however, most orders are shipped with 3-5 days. Please accept our apologies for disappointing you. We will try and do better in the future. There was a delay in getting an order confirmation. Ordered 2/2 no order confirmation. Received shipment notification on 2/8, once I received a shipment notification the item arrived as promised. Took 5 days. Shipping is very expensive. $11.95 for ground service is ridiculous.The cost of the item is very over priced. A board with pegs and a box of rubber bands for $33.95. Not happy
