“The worst customer care service ever!!!
I've received my parcel 2 of 2 but parcel 1 of 2 was never delivered. I've tried to get an update on my missing order for more than a week, I spoke to more than 5 agents and I still have no clue what happened to my order.
Shame on you Mr Price Home!

Then I received an email to say when it will be delivered, I got the option to change the delivery address, which I did. I was then told that I cant change it. “Dear Zoey from Mr Price Home Tablebay Mall.. as a supervisor of the store, I must say we were left very disappointed at the treatment you dished out to us yesterday. We bought a base cover which was clearly marked as a three quarter only to discover when we were putting it in the bed it was actually marked as a single. We returned it but unfortunately didn't not have the slip as who keeps the slip of a bedding item. We understood that we couldn't get a cash refund and asked for a voucher to use at another time as store credit. You couldn't do this. We had to spend the money in store on the same day .. even though there was nothing we needed to buy. We complied and went to find something. Then we get back to the till and u took the greatest of pleasure telling us we have to join the back of the queue again .. laughing at us with your colleagues. Supervisor behaviour of a Mr Price employee.. I sincerely hope this is not the standard of service and client interaction you strive for. We then purchase the goods to the value of the return and we're then told we can't have a slip for the new purchase as this could now be used as a return for cash !!! The original item was only returned as the out packaging was incorrect and the item did not fit !!!! If the procedures are what they are but the attitude of Zoey was so uncalled for and just plain rude !!! Lyn Billowes”
“I’ve had ongoing bad experiences at the Mr Price Home Green Point branch, most recently on 4 November 2025. Staff show no acknowledgement, no assistance, and poor attitude — this has happened multiple times, including 28 October and earlier visits.
On my latest visit, Simal (cashier) ignored my request to have both a printed and emailed receipt, packed all items into one bag, and left a fragile ornament unwrapped. Kyle (floor consultant) was dismissive and unhelpful when I asked about a mirror, responding as if I were bothering him.
When I requested a manager, Calvin (manager) eventually assisted but only apologised at the end — after I’d spent nearly an hour frustrated and disappointed.
This level of service is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the brand. The Sea Point branch offers far better service, which highlights the lack of proper management and training at Green Point. I have requested the Area or Divisional Manager to contact me directly to address this matter seriously.”
“Worst customer service EVER!!! Once payment is made they don't give two shits about you. Also won't help you cancel your order. Paid an astronomical amount of almost a R1000 for delivery. Delivery was supposed to take 5-7 days, 17 days later and I am still waiting.”
“They used to be my go-to for the easy stuff. But now I reckon they think they're 'designer' -- that's what these outrageous prices say. So why bother? I can get far better quality patio furniture for the same price at some very cool stores. Looking right now at a designer store that has better items for the same prices, and they're willing to deliver free from Pretoria to the Cape! Someone got too big for their britches. “After receiving the worst online service I have ever experienced I would like to warn future clients to never rely on Mr.Price Home's online service.
I placed an order on the 8th of July for glass jars, on the 14th I got an email saying the order is ready for delivery and that I should receive it by the 17th.
When I didn't receive anything the 17th I followed up with their customer call centre. No one could tell me what is going on and promised to phone me once they do have answers. No one phoned me so I followed up again. They said the courier company, Fastway couriers, said the address is unclear and I am not answering their calls.
The address I gave is my business address with the name of the business very big and clear on the building. I also did not receive any calls.
On the 21st I followed up again only to be told the package was damaged, that I would be refunded in 24-48 hours and that I need to place the order again if I wish to receive it.
So 2 weeks of waiting with terrible service and I still don't have my order.
Never again.”
“Mr Price Home has stolen from me!
I made a purchase on Monday 30 June, and returned some of the items on Saturday 5 July. The amount of just short of R800 that was refunded, was then debited to my card again.
On calling them I am told I need to come into the store with a bank statement during the week only in order to be refunded.
Despite working full time, I will make a plan to get to the store to get my money back, but that will be the last time I purchase anything from Mr Price Home.”
“I placed an order on 18 May for the amount of R8300.00. It was for 10 chair pads, a Rose metal bench and a Protea Bloom armchair. As yet I only received 3 chair pads, as that was all that they had in stock. Still waiting for the metal bench and the armchair. I phoned how many times, HAD TO HOLD THE LINE FOR HOW LONG, THEN IT CUTS OF AND YOU HAVE TO PHONE AGAIN AND AGAIN, and sent emails, but no one can assist! Mr Price home, you should do better homework on how online shopping works. You have no idea what you are doing. PATHETIC!!!!!”

“Subject: Complaint Regarding Incorrect Pricing and Poor Service at Mr Price Home, Langeberg Mall
Dear Mr Price Home Management,
I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your Langeberg Mall branch. This is the second time I’ve encountered issues with incorrect pricing in your store.
On my recent visit, my husband and I found a set of glasses we liked. The price on the glasses was clearly marked as R15.99, but the same glass next to them had a sticker with a price of R19.99. To clarify, I asked an employee about the price discrepancy, and she confirmed that I should be charged R15.99.
However, when we reached the checkout, the glasses were scanned at R19.99. I explained to the cashier that this was incorrect, and that the original price was R15.99, which had been covered by the R19.99 sticker. Despite this, I was told that the higher price would be applied because the sticker “closed” the original price, forcing me to pay R19.99 due to what seems to be a labeling error on your part.
I fail to see how your store's negligence in labeling and managing stock should become the customer's responsibility. What’s more, the manager, Charmaine, who was called to assist, was dismissive and had a very poor attitude. Rather than resolving the issue in a customer-friendly manner, she authorized the higher price, which left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer.
I am deeply disappointed by this experience and the lack of accountability shown by your team. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address the pricing and customer service issues at this branch to prevent this from happening again in the future.

“I bought a cooler bag at MrP Home Benmore, I retured it 20 minutes later because the lady I bought it for did not like it as the material was very thin and flimsy. Upon requesting a refund I was told they could not help me as I paid with my virtual credit card all they could do is allow me to swap it for something else in the store. Surely this cannot be true.
I did not want anything else in their store as I had no time to look and their store is quite small. The managers attitute and client service was despicable, honestly just horrible !!
I went to another store and had a very different , they were friendly and accomodating and assisted me as it was a same day purchase.”

“I ordered 2 couches 2 weeks ago and city logistics have been playing run around with my delivery. They send these WhatsApp texts and email to confirm delivery normally for the next day which I do confirm but they never pitch. This happened for over a week. Can you imagine how many times I had to skip work to accommodate the “supposed” scheduled delivery. Mr Price home WhatsApp customer is the worst. They couldn’t help track my order or even reach out to city logistics. They gave me a number which isn’t working when I told them, they said there’s nothing they can do. Imagine the nerve! I am super disappointed with your service and I don’t think I’ll ever be buying from you again. I should stick with @home because they deliver with their own trucks and drivers and they do it efficiently with love and customer acknowledgment.”
