“Ordered the Double expresso shots as I was using quite a few pods and my coffee addiction was taking over, definately double shots, really nice tasting, was particularly impressed with the Customer service, attentive, friendly and fast dispatch, would definately recommend Mugpods to any Coffee lover, going to be trying the Milkshakes for the kids next, top class, Cheers, Rob White”

“Strong but good flavour. The chocolate is amazing. One thing I would have liked to know is whether to use the small amount of water button or large for these pods in my Nespresso machine as I can't see this on the box. I underatand the density of the contents dictates which button to select?”

On our website when you place your order there are actually short clips available for you to watch on each product page, which show you how much water/chocolate to use for the ideal drink, I hope that helps. “I really like mugpods! I have bought the chocolate pods and the hazelnut and chocolate pods and both are really delicious. I have also bought the coffee and vannilla which is also very good and the Podista Aromatico which is my husbands favourite. Delivery is very fast and I highly recommend this site.”

“I liked the pods the 16 intensity coffee is quite nice and strong. The hot chocolate is also very good. My only criticisms would be I would like to know the type of bean used in the coffee. I like a strong coffee so maybe more variety would be good. My favourite high street coffee is the wild bean cappuccino at BP petrol stations. It is strong to smell and taste but has a smooth, creamy finish. I would really like something like that still retains the strength and smell once milk is added. I would rate your coffee as one of the best I have tried so far for my nespresso machine.”

To answer your question our intensity 16 Double Shot pod contains the freshly ground & roasted coffee beans sourced from the Brazilian rainforest - which are boosted with natural Guarana extract. “We did not receive our order but mugpods sent out another order without a fuss and this time we got it very quickly. Unfortunately, the hot chocolate pods were too sweet for our liking but if you like sweet drinks then these are for you. My husband enjoyed the coffee pods and says they're really good”

“Mugpods' Mint Hot Chocolate tastes nice enough, but it seems a bit daft that they recommend using two pods to get a half-decent cup - why not increase the cocoa concentration in the pod so that you only need one "shot" for a cup of hot chocolate? The recommendation was entirely accurate, as with only one pod the hot chocolate didn't have enough flavour. All in all, not a bad product, but be aware that each cup will cost twice as much as you thought!”

Hello and thank you for taking the time to review us. Getting the concentration of cocoa/sugar to be mixed with the water in a very small pod designed for espressos takes some doing! We always welcome feedback on how to improve them. As you have put - we recommend a small shot (about a third of a mug) and fill up with milk, the smaller the shot the stronger the flavour - indeed large mugs may need two pods. “I searched for ages to find chocolade capsules for my nespresso machine. So i was very happy, when i discovered mugpods! The shipping to Germany was lightning fast! The taste of the different flavours is delicious, and intense. But there is one little flaw: the pods are leaking after usage, and the powder isn't completely extruded from the pods. But i will order again from your shop :-)”

“Have been looking ages for hot chocolate that fits in our nespresso machine so was happy to stumble across this product. I ordered a few different flavours to try. Delivery was very quick. Love the products. However the pods leak a little bit so have to clean the bottom of the machine after every use.”

“My 10 year old daughter loves hot chocolate and says these are the closest she's come to an authentic swiss hot chocolate drink and regards hem as far superior to the power drinks generally sold in supermarkets. I suspect I'll be spending a lot of money on the Mug pods site in the coming months.”
